Dear friends, family, and fellow patriots:
Everything in the hands of our current Government, as you are well aware, is going to hell in a hand basket. I am not going to ride down with the sinking ship, especially when this ship of Socialism is not one that I have signed on to. I have always told you that I am a Conservative first and a Republican second, and then only because the Republicans are far more Conservative than Democrats.
Well, I am now sufficiently pissed off to jump ship. This ol’Capt is going to sign on with the Constitutional Party. I shall be supporting this party and their/our Presidential Candidate: Chuck Baldwin.
As you may already know I have created my own Blog recently. It is called “ The Liberty Tree Lantern “ You can get there through this address: http://captkarl.blogivists.com/ There you can read my article on why I have made this decision.
As I have written to you in the past, I believe we are headed for “The Perfect Storm”; a combination Civil / Re-Revolutionary War. Perhaps with the right change and the right President we might avoid this war, unlikely but worth a shot to avoid many. We Conservatives are Mad as Hell and we are not going to take it anymore! I am fed up with dealing with RINOs!

It is time for a change! A change away from Socialism! Bring the wheel hard about mate! Capt. Jack’s Sparrow’s compass is appointing in another direction, the direction towards the thing that we desire the most; FREEDOM! It is time to unfurl the sails of The USS Constitution and set sail and bearing to the port of INDIVIDUAL prosperity, INDIVIDUAL popular sovereignty, INDIVIDUAL FREEDOM, happiness, lower prices on energy, heat, light, gasoline, diesel and food, massively improved economics through the practical application of FREEDOM (from Government) and away from the chains and bondage of the soup kitchens of the Socialist welfare state.
