What Has The U.S. Government Done to The Constitution?
June 20, 2008 by Capt. Karl
You have a nice blog Liberty and Prosperity for Today , guys. It is always nice to find more Patriots! We need all we can muster!
You know I have studied The Constitution, The Declaration and a number of writings by the founding fathers for years.
There is far more to The Constitution, all supported by numerous writings of our founding fathers, than our average fellow countrymen might believe or even be willing to believe. Past generations did not do a good job of teaching us the exciting canons of our FREEDOM (which simply means FREEDOM from Government). The majority of us do not understand the meaning of FREEDOM, or what our patriots really went through to win it from our Government and policemen of the time; and the whys of all the items listed in The Constitution that to many of us today, programmed as we are, don’t seem to make sense.
Like how could we exist with a Federal Government that barely exists and hardly does anything what-so-ever. But then the Constitution has “specific”,,, “enumerated” powers. That precisely means that legally the Federal Government can not do anything, what-so-ever, that isn’t specifically on “the list”. The U.S. Congress, both houses, as they have been running the Government since 1913, with The Federal Reserve Act and the bogus Sixteenth Amendment, are nothing more than a bunch of scofflaws.
The Constitution of the United State SPECIFICALLY states that all taxes shall be apportioned. This has been confirmed by The Supreme Court when they stated that the sixteenth amendment didn’t do anything to change this clause. No direct un-apportioned tax confirmed by the US Supreme Court rulings in CHAS. C. STEWARD MACH. CO. v. DAVIS, 301 U.S. 548, 581-582(1937)
Now you might come back with a statement saying that an apportioned tax (the exact same dollar amount of tax for every single person regardless of earnings) would not be sustainable and therefore the U.S. Government wouldn’t be able to sustain taxation over the long term and, therefore, the U.S. Government would be very small and not have all the departments and bureaucracies that they have today. EXACTLY, that is the purpose that our extremely wise founding fathers so ordained with in the document. The Federal Government is supposed to be extremely small, compared to today’s tyrannical version. The individual State governments, on the other hand, are supposed to be quite big, somewhat powerful (but still our public Servants and we their Masters) and have many “duplicated” services of the other states, which would replace some, but certainly not all, of the functions that the Federal Government is doing. In this manner the States can compete against each other to entice people who create wealth through hard work. If a State has too many or bad laws, or taxes too much, or doesn’t treat We The People, as we expect them to, we can run to another state for our freedom and our best interests to such a degree that We The People could literally let a State wallow in the smell and misery of it’s own stagnant Socialist cesspool. This affect of this form of republican style government, with the application of national competition for people and prosperity, would result in the Federal and State Governments, including all houses of Congress, to have great respect for We The People, who did ordain and establish the Constitutional Laws on the Federal Government. When The Federal Government has so much power, like it has today, power that we let them have, that it usurps from us, and money that it steals from us, we have no where to run from a single all powerful Government that has power over all of the Union. This is why the Found Fathers wrote the apportionment clause. So in effect, gentlemen, according to the supreme law, law above all laws, of our land there isn’t supposed to be any INCOME TAXES as affirmed by The Supreme Court, on more than one case, but I leave you with one above.
Nobody, not me, or you can change the fact that it is entirely illegal for the U.S. Government to compel us to file or pay for income taxes; And, for the very good reasons of which we all stand witnesses to this very day and temporal time. Further, it seems self evident that every time we futz with The Constitution we screw things up. Every single law, on Government, written in The Constitution, is well supported and documented as to why it was written by the numerous writings of the founding fathers. We should never alter the Constitution for any reason unless it is absolutely urgent and we have a perfect understanding as to the WHY it was written.
I, therefore, stand by The Constitution and I defend it, AS IT IS WRITTEN, word for word, per the ORIGINAL intent, meaning and spirit of same.
In fact, just two days ago I made a major decision to switch political party affiliation. I have joined with The Constitution Party www.constitutionparty.com . I am also going to support Chuck Baldwin, our candidate, for President. Their premise is to follow the exact word of The Constitution PERIOD. I believe that is the only possible way to fix the economic, social, and tyrannical evils and ills affecting this country. I recommend and advise that you to consider doing likewise for the good of our country and to secure our FREEDOM before we loose it. If you need a better understanding of the cause of my anxious and indigent feelings with regards to the U.S. Government and particularly both houses of Congress read the other posts in The Liberty Tree Lantern.
Perhaps, if you feel it would be beneficial, you might place The Liberty Tree Lantern www.http://captkarl.blogivists.com in you blog links area.
