“Joe, American” Challenges the Presidential Candidates

Dear Joe:
I really appreciate your sentiments that you masterfully articulated on your video. I agree with the vast majority of what you are saying, however, I am afraid that you are missing one huge component that needs to be supplemented into your excellent speech to our damn Senators. Yes, I feel very indignant with what they are doing to us Americans.
But I think that the very essence of the problem with the cost of energy and a wide array of other problems facing America are all interconnected. Maybe you are knowledgeable about some of these matters but I want to express to you some information that I have gleaned from a lot of reading and research I have done over many years of my life, in terms of economics and governance, but which has been far more focused over the last 1 ½ years.
First of all, from your video, I feel that you believe our country, by the work and efforts of the American people, is the greatest the world has ever known. I believe that you feel that we, as a nation and as INDIVIDUAL peoples, became great because of FREEDOM. I bet you agree with me completely on this. Now, did you ever ask yourself what FREEDOM means? Think about it for awhile, really,,, what does FREEDOM truly mean and how did that produce a nation and a people that became so great?
If you think about it, honestly, you will come to the simplest conclusion. FREEDOM literally means freedom FROM GOVERNMENT. It means we are all INDIVIDUALS with certain unalienable rights that were bestowed upon us by our creator. You see, Joe, what I think you are missing is the true CORE of the problem. Our Founding Fathers drafted a set of laws imposed on the Federal Government which are ENUMERATED. These enumerated laws are like a grocery list of things they are ALLOWED to do. Anything not on that specific list is completely and utterly ILLEGAL. This is how The Constitution of The United States of America protects our FREEDOM (from Government).
You see, Joe, our founding fathers were masters of knowledge in many facets, but especially in terms of the history of various forms of government and how they impacted on people. What they discovered is that government is not the solution to most problems, government is the problem causing most problems. So they drafted our Founding Documents to make sure that government couldn’t usurp our power and our FREEDOM (from Government). According to the writings of our Founding Fathers, which I have spent years reading, the Federal Government is supposed to be so small, other than the military, that it is almost supposed to be non-existent. Our State governments, on the other hand, are supposed to be rather powerful, “somewhat” large and INDEPENDENT and self sufficient as though separate countries each with it’s own Governor and Congress, but “United”. The State governments are supposed to provide for any services that We The People desire from government. In this way, if a State screws up, takes away too much FREEDOM and therefore destroys the wealth generation of freedom through too much regulation or legislation, or taxes too much, we can run to a different State. In other words the States will COMPETE, for We The People because the people generate wealth and prosperity through hard work.
All right, what’s my point to all of this? The U.S. Government has been operating outside of the bounds of The Constitution since 1913 with the creation of The Federal Reserve Act, which is in utter defiance of The Constitution under Article 1, Section 8:The Congress shall have Power . . . To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures … The Constitution does not provide for Congress to give this responsibility to a “private” banking company, privately held by only 40 people, for numerous specific reasons written in the various writings of our Founding Fathers. This allowed the U.S. Government to borrow as much money as they wanted, destroying the true value of the Dollar, and allowing Government to grow far beyond the scope allowed in The Constitution; effectively usurping our individual power as a FREE people; ultimately resulting in utter contempt not only for the Constitution, but for us. Their contempt for The Constitution has been more and more brazen ever since. The fact is that the Constitution states very clearly that all taxes (if any) are to be apportioned. They did this on purpose to ensure that the political feasibility of sustained taxes, by the Federal Government, was virtually zilch. This would ensure that the Federal Government would never have the power to become our Slave Masters in lieu of our Public Servants through the usurpation of the powers that we have from The Constitution that We The People drafted and that God bestowed upon us, a FREE (from Government) people. This would then also allow the “competition” factor between the independent States to function. Many people think that the Sixteenth amendment (also strangely enough 1913) changed Government’s ability to levy a direct un-apportioned tax. First of all there is very compelling evidence that the Sixteenth Amendment was never truly ratified, there are volumes of books proving this fact. Secondly even if it was ratified, it doesn’t matter anyway – No direct un-apportioned tax confirmed by the US Supreme Court rulings in CHAS. C. STEWARD MACH. CO. v. DAVIS, 301 U.S. 548, 581-582(1937) Yes, I am telling you there is NO LAW in existence, that allows income taxes in there current form; and for good reason that we can see today, and which will soon bring on what I call “The Perfect Storm” in less than fourteen years.
So my point is that by the Federal Government sticking their noses in everything and trying to micro-manage everything, which is a diametric to FREEDOM (which means FREEDOM from Government), they are screwing everything up and we have no State in the Union we can run to, to be FREE; in this case from the high prices of gasoline and energy that has been caused by the U.S. Government functioning outside of the bounds of The Constitution. BTW: The major problem is not the Administration(s) as much as it is BOTH HOUSES OF CONGRESS. They are the ones who make / legislate the laws. They are to blame. In the case of energy our problem stems from the fact that Congress made it illegal to explore and/or drill for oil in all the “Federal” Lands and off shore surrounding America. It is NONE of their damn business what we want to do. They are our SERVANTS not our Masters! We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence,[1] promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. Joe, we made the LAWS of the Constitution to protect us from Government doing to us what they did with energy prices through contempt of our Constitution and our FREEDOM (from Government).
I submit, therefore, that the U.S. Government should and must rescind all legislation and red tape that has caused our current problem and GET THE HELL OUT of our way! The last thing we need to do is encourage the U.S. Government to “do something”. They need to get out of the Oil and Gas business so that We The People and our businesses can fix the problem that THEY CREATED “as usual” and as the founding fathers state in numerous writings as to the why they drafted The Constitution as they did. Please don’t encourage them to take anymore power. The tyrants and despots have done enough damage.
The solution to all of these things rests with We The People of The United (but INDIVIDUAL) States. We can handle this. Tell the U.S. Government to get the hell out of the way. And, more importantly tell the SCOFFLAWS to obey the LAW or we are going to come up there and run them out of town with pitchforks. I have been sharpening mine for almost a year now.
