Issued on 26 October 1987, President Reagan’s Executive Order 12612 on federalism [http://reagan2020.com/federalism.asp] speaks directly to the point. Indicating federalism’s “fundamental principles,” Reagan wrote as crisply and cogently as Madison, Hamilton or Jay ever did: “Federalism is rooted in the knowledge that our political liberties are best assured by limiting the size and scope of the national government. … The people of the States created the national government when they delegated to it those enumerated governmental powers relating to matters beyond the competence of the individual States. … All other sovereign powers, save those expressly prohibited the States by the Constitution, are reserved to the States or to the people.”

When Americans are canceling vacations because gasoline is over $4.00 per gallon, Democrats plan to adjourn work for a month-long vacation the first of August WITHOUT holding a vote to drill for American oil.

There were all sorts of other patriotic signs, hanging from branches and planted ground stands like: “United We Stand” with a U.S. Flag but with the yellow Gadsden Flag stickers (first flag of American Freedom) with coiled snake and “Don’t Tread On Me” on it, “God Bless America” and a bunch of other printed constitutional fact signs posted around the Liberty Tree. I have to say; after you got over the shock of the “hanging” it was patriotic and very educational.

Somehow, I believe that most Patriots are on bended knee and with repentantly bowed heads; for most of us know that without the mighty fortress of our God and his divine providence against our overwhelming odds, all hope for us to restore our true FREEDOM is already lost.
