Chad Fradette, Running to Replace WI State Senator Dave Hansen, Believes In FREEDOM
July 30, 2008 by Capt. Karl
The noble Mr. Chad M. Fradette is running for Wisconsin State Senate for the 30th District, which is North Eastern WI from just south of Green Bay and up. This covers DePere, Green Bay, Suamico, Oconto, Peshtigo, Colmen, Marinette and surrounding areas.
If you are looking for freedom, lower taxes, lower spending and prosperity for Wisconsin citizens, it looks like we have a candidate who is on our side. The honorable Chad M. Fradette, who already has plans to protect us from the U.S. Congress. See this exciting news below. These are actual e-mails regarding State of Wisconsin sovereignty bill simular to the Oklahoma Joint Resolution 1089 by State Representative Charles Key:
——————————————————————————-
Thank you for your reply, Mr. Fradette.
I appreciate all of the sentiments you have conveyed in your reply, sir. I would, however, like to point out that changes to The Constitution can be as fraught with menace to our freedom as illegal transgressions by contemporary legislators. According to my research of the writings and concerns of our founding fathers, it is my understanding, especially highlighted by Thomas Jefferson as well as others, that the shackles of the Constitution were purposely forged financially short so that the Federal Government would be prevented from doing all the mayhem they are, yielding high taxes, high living costs, low wages and salaries, lost jobs, high health care costs, unbearable energy costs a diminished economy from what it could have been and expensive sustenance, as a result of actions that fall well beyond the enumerated powers allotted; many of which appear to me to be highly illegal and I would dare say treasonous for the dismantling of our liberty and prosperity.
I believe that holding the Federal Government, by the State of Wisconsin, at arms length, as the agents of the States as it is supposed to be in accordance with The Constitution and The Declaration, “may” help to divert a calamity resulting from what I call a “perfect storm” that has been ominously brewing for quite some time just over the horizon and which appears to be now either heading our way fast or perhaps upon us as evidenced in a multitude of bank closings, mortgage bailouts, declining dollar and massively increasing costs of all kinds not least of which are Social Security and Medicare at $90 TRILLION in UNFUNDED liabilities over the infinite horizon.
There are some people in our area and around the country who I know who are very angry at the U.S. Congress; And, for good reason. It appears that Democrats in our State legislature may be birds of a tax and spend socialist feather. This is why my wife and I, sir, are going to support a Constitutionalist like you who understands the virtue of liberty. It appears that you are a person who may not be prone to use taxation against his own constituents for the purposes of manipulation, control, and tyranny as Federal counterparts in Congress are doing daily. You can count on our votes and our support!
I humbly thank you for your honorable pledged support in the subject endeavor for the freedom and financial protections it may afford our Wisconsin citizens as the perfect storm approaches; in the face of which, I can only hope that our sister States have legislators who are as astute. I would hope that if enough states would show such backbone, the Federal Government might be compelled to initiate the carefully stepped reversal of scofflaw legislation and return to the size, scope and enumerated powers relegated by The Constitution.
Federal usurpation goes beyond anything the Constitution’s framers would have imagined. James Madison, explaining the constitution, in Federalist Paper 45, said, “The powers delegated … to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite. The former will be exercised principally on external objects, [such] as war, peace, negotiation, and foreign commerce. … The powers reserved to the several States will extend to all the objects which, in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives, liberties, and properties of the people.” Thomas Jefferson emphasized that the states are not “subordinate” to the national government, but rather the two are “coordinate departments of one simple and integral whole. … The one is the domestic, the other the foreign branch of the same government.”
I am a strong constitutionalist type with a deep respect for our founding fathers. Nearly an entire generation of my ancestors fought in the Revolutionary War so that we may have our freedoms today. I’m certain they would be horrified at the intrusion of our government today.
I was aware of Rep. Key’s resolution in Oklahoma and it is a proposal of some merit.
The Federal government has nearly immersed our country in socialism. One portion of the debate is the myriad of Federal mandates enacted in the last 50 years. Mandates that are becoming more frequent each session. Rather than using the Constitutional Amendment process to change the Constitution when necessary, the federal government has frequently passed legislation that directly violates the intent of the Constitution or is not expressly allowed under the language of the Constitution. Some of these constitutional violations have been passed with good intentions, however they are violations nonetheless.
Federal mandates have effectively stripped Wisconsin and all other states of their individual rights to govern themselves and to act in their citizens’ best interests. These violations permeate through every facet of our daily lives. The federal government should be forced to strictly follow the rules outlined in the Constitution.
When our federal government does not adhere to the tenants of the Constitution “we the people” are effectively stripped of our freedoms to the detriment of our State.
When I become the next Senator for the 30th District you can count on me to introduce/sponsor Rep. Key’s resolution in the Wisconsin Senate.
Sincerely,
Chad

Quoting “Capt. Karl” :
I received an e-mail about your website from Sean Stephenson [sgstephenson@gmail.com]
I’m sure Sean knows that I am quite active and knowledgeable on subjects related to economics, politics, and the history of various forms of government, as well as a substantial background on the writings and history of our Founding Fathers and Revolutionary history. I am an avid fan of FREEDOM (from Government) as the fact is that freedom is the greatest individual generator of wealth ever devised, probably because it dovetails so well with “Natural Law” which ultimately are simply the laws of God as in the Ten Commandments and derivatives of same.
Since I would have your ear, just before election, I am going to provide you with the same proposal that I gave to John Nygren and Leah Vukmir.
Please refer to this site:
The honorable John Nygren is coming to my residence to discuss initial aspects of such a bill on Tuesday August 5th.
After review please be so kind as to reply with your thoughts.
Capt. Karl
