UPDATE #18: CONTINENTAL CONGRESS 2009
Help Bring CC2009 to Your State
Organizational Outreach & More Video

Ed. note: This update regards the upcoming historic Continental Congress 2009 event to be held later this year. As part of CC 2009, delegates selected by the People from each of the fifty states will convene to discuss the Government’s ongoing violations of the Constitution and develop strategies the People can employ to peaceably curtail the abuse and restore Constitutional Order. Although these violations have been widely debated for years, it is the Government’s patent refusal to respond to any and all First Amendment Petitions for Redress that now compel the People to justly and actively resist the tyranny.
We strongly encourage our readers to review each of our latest updates. At a minimum, please be sure to read our “Summit Call“ and “Line in the Sand” web articles which provide a good overview of the constitutional crisis and CC 2009 initiative.

Radisson Capital room
Opening Remarks
Bob Schulz gave history of WTP and his credentials.
In speaking to the task of the foundation to petition for remedy, particularly to petition the government to redress of grievances and their failure to address our petition Bob elaborated on the past failed attempts and the course of action left to a free people.
The government has recklessly ignored our petitions and left us with little alternative than to hold another Continental Congress. He spoke to the differences between a Continental Congress and a Continental Convention, stating that we in no way are seeking to alter the Constitution.
We are repeating history. We are in the same boat as the original founding fathers.
We need 3 people from each state who have a passion for the Constitution to go to the convention and look for a remedy. We will be broadcasting via a live webcast, to the world and showing the world that we have called the federal government on this and they have failed to answer this grievance that a peaceful people has come before them with.
Bob asked visitors to tell us why they are attending the meeting.
One man cited the illegality of the income tax and the force with which it is enforced
Another man stated his fear of martial law and the economic downturn. There were several who voiced their distain for the unconstitutional, far reaching arm of the federal government.
Bob praised Congressman Ron Paul and his attempt to speak to the unconstitutional war during his campaign.
He asked for the 20 people in attendance to help the state coordinator to do outreach.
He asked for nominations to the Continental Congress.
