Almost half of the Americans who responded to a new poll say they have concerns about the impact of carbon dioxide on the climate, but two out of three say they have no interest whatsoever in opening their wallets to pay for any mitigation.
Asked whether they “believe that man-produced carbon dioxide and other so-called greenhouse gases will induce catastrophic climate change” if unaddressed, 49.6 percent of the respondents said yes. Twenty-seven percent said no, and 23.4 percent were uncertain. The concern from Democrats and Republicans was reversed with Democrats saying 10-1 yes and Republicans saying 2-1 no.

DANVILLE, Va. – Rep. Tom Perriello, D-Va., may be using the state police and local law enforcement to harass and intimidate citizens who have publicly expressed opposition to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s trillion-dollar health care reform legislation, a local TEA Party leader charged Tuesday in a letter urging state Attorney General Bill Mims to conduct a formal investigation.
Danville TEA Party chairman Nigel Coleman told Mims that Virginia State Police officers Monday came unannounced to the home of another member of the group to question him about attending a town hall meeting Saturday in Blairs which featured Perriello and two Obama cabinet secretaries.
“All Americans should be concerned when a congressman uses the state police to intimidate citizens and suppress dissent against a government takeover of our health care.,” Coleman said. “No American should have to fear that the police will show up at his door because he’s dared publicly disagree with some politician’s political agenda.”

Do you know where Governor Doyle is going to get $3 BILLION Dollars to pay for his Socialist spending programs for the 2010 budget when there is no more Federal stimulus package to raid? Where is he going to go to get that money? How are we Wisconsin citizens going to come up with $3 BILLION Dollars when Governor Doyle’s Socialist government spending and taxing policies have forced Wisconsin small businesses to either move to another State, shut down, or close and we are all out of work? Have you noticed all of the companies that have closed over just the last two years of high Wisconsin business taxes and fees? Have you noticed how many companies have closed just in the last 4 or 5 months? Have you noticed how many Wisconsin citizens are laid off temporarily or permanently? Why would any sane company, that you would want to work for, be so stupid as to come to Wisconsin with a Governor like Jim Doyle? Do you think they want to come to Wisconsin to pay all these taxes and fees for us?

There was a protest in Green Bay when Doyle and Obama met for a Democratic party meeting. Twelve hundred strong, protesting against Obama’s health care plan.
Among the crowd were some 50 grassroots “Recall Doyle” members, part of WIN (Wisconsinites Interests Now). There was a demonstration at the Capitol rotunda on June 23, the WIN group came with posters and signs to protest Jim Doyle, the Joint Finance Committee and the budget. Why wasn’t any of this ever published or considered newsworthy?
Seems there is a media blackout for those who want to recall Doyle. Here’s another example.
