As important as all the fights are that we’re in right now, perhaps the biggest of all is the fight over whether the government will take over the Internet. That’s because as long as the Internet is free, we can use it to communicate, educate, and organize. Tea parties, townhalls, and AFP events would be very difficult to organize if government owned and controlled the Internet and chose to interfere with it. That’s what’s at stake this week as the Federal Communications Commission decides on Thursday whether to move forward with so-called “net neutrality” regulations.

We have a vital and critical mission and little time to achieve it before the total overnight Black Friday Supernova implosion, my patriotic friend. Every organization seems to agree that we need to get together, but do all “freedom” organizations agree that the Government should be compelled to obey the full force and ‘effect’ of law? – Meaning only handle the SEVENTEEN things allowed by law. That my friend is the question. The answer to that, , , is the answer to restoration of our individual freedom, liberty and prosperity. The Constitution is not a menu from which each of us can pick and choose which parts meets or personal or business preferences. It is an all or nothing document, meant to be that way to avoid that of which we now find ourselves. I think this question should be the first order of business at the meeting / gathering of our various organizations.

This is a group that supports The Constitution and our LAWs that WE wrote, established and ordained on the Government. This Brewer tailgate party is a GREAT and fun way to meet with hundreds of people who are VERY concerned with what our Government through almost ten decades and both major political parties have done to us to one degree or the other. I can personally vouch for the general membership “grassroots” of this group. They are smart, informed and they want to take ACTION to do something about the loss of our INDIVIDUAL rights, freedom, liberty, prosperity and the nightmare of Federal and State Government spending and taxation. If you believe in the one and only meaning of freedom, as defined by our Founding Fathers, and you are interested in restoring our unalienable rights and liberty, you are going to love these wonderful people!

Sens. Specter (PA), Collins (ME), and Snowe (ME) are the three key swing Republicans that we should focus on. Senator Specter said on Fox News that he DIDN’T KNOW the health care provisions that set us on the path to government rationing were in the bill. Why is it important for us to go to this AFP Wisconsin Summit? At this meeting you will see HUNDREDS of people from all over Wisconsin who are willing to FIGHT and I mean FIGHT for freedom and, thereby, economic prosperity for each of us individually. Last year, my son Jason met me there so you can ask him as well, there were about 500 people from all over Wisconsin.
In the hallways, conference rooms and lounges were people from all walks of life, from welders and grocery baggers to business and corporate executives, who were there in defense freedom and to improve the economy and our opportunity to turn a buck, to make a living and to improve our lot in life by way of getting Government and taxation out of our way. As I walked past these Wisconsin AFP members I heard their conversations, it almost made me cry. They sounded just like Thomas Jeffersons well versed in the true meaning and considerable remuneration of freedom and its momentous beneficial impact on our economy and our individual financial opportunities.

Over the past year, AFP has been warning you about global warming alarmism and the environmental political correctness that it has spawned. One of the greatest dangers this alarmism presents is the continued rise of unelected bureaucrats and their attempts to grab power from the people. The proposed regulation by the EPA is a clear example of the regulations this panic will produce.
After the Senate rejected a plan to regulate greenhouse gases, the EPA decided to go ahead and do it anyway. The extent of their plan is truly terrifying.

I am sad that The Milwaukee Brewers would let them get away with the attempt to destroy our way of life. I bet the Green Bay Packers would at least let us have our “Hot Air Tour” balloon in Green Bay if not have the fortitude to directly support our cause. After all, it costs a lot of money to heat our homes up north and they care about their fans and shareholders. And the Green Bay Packers are “America’s Team”. They believe in freedom and prosperity for America.
