On August 14, 2009, in Oklahoma City, Bob Schulz delivered the keynote speech at the Freedom 21 Conference’s Friday night banquet. The speech was part of a special dedication ceremony that continued what began in the Federal Reserve Room at the Jekyll Island Club on May 21, 2009 with the signing of The Freedom Scroll. The ceremony included a local unit of the color guard from the United States Navy, patriotic singing, reading and signing of the Scroll.

The Unalienable Right to Petition for Redress of Grievances, precedented even in England’s Magna Carta, is the background and very foundation upon which the Declaration of Independence was written and America was founded.
The founding fathers understood that the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial Branches of government might someday fail in their duty to protect the people from tyranny.
Fortunately, the founders provisioned for two forms of legal means through which We the People can peacefully mandate limited government: 1. the ballot box; 2. the First Amendment Accountability Clause.

These delegates will be simply representatives of the people who have a rock solid belief in our laws that we did establish and ordain in The Constitution upon Government, originally drafted in the attempt to ensure that what the Federal Government is doing to us today and how they are going to be oppressively taxing us in the near future, would not happen. It is the group’s intent to convene this Continental Congress to establish methods to enforce Constitutional Laws upon the U.S. Government so that our rights, freedom, liberty, private property and our earnings are protected from usurpation and tyranny.
