It is this history that ALL AMERICANS must not only realize and remember but also instill into our children.  It is for them and for our own adult needs that The Liberty Tree Lantern presents the following video.  Please share this with your children, so that they understand what our Federal Government is doing to us today by replacing our freedom, liberty, and individual prosperity and rights with Socialism, Communism and Fascism:

How did we forget about all of the facts in the video above and get so far from our roots?   The roots of liberty and the resulting prosperity?  What have we done?  Or, more importantly what have we let our Government do to us?  And, why, why did we let them do it to us?

The Liberty Tree Lantern does see how the U.S. Government would naturally be tempted to use the “Swine Flu” H1N1 virus as a tool to dismantle the laws in The Constitution that greatly limit their powers to directly control us individually or in mass.  This H1N1 so-called “emergency” would certainly fit the bill perfectly for them to ensure their control over us when The MATRIX experiences a systemic failure within three years.  A failure of their own making through Constitutionally illegal legislation that far exceeds the SEVENTEEN enumerated items We The People “allowed” them the privilege to do for us under Article 1 Section 8 of The Constitution as further supported by the 9th and 10th Amendments in the Bill of Rights.

As indicated in the following video it is apparent that the H1N1 virus is a highly unlikely combination of viruses that many scientists have stated could only be made by gene splicing.  That is to say that it would have been a “manufactured” virus.  Knowing how so many things are made up these days by some people The Liberty Tree Lantern is not prepared to state that it has confirmed this “manufactured virus” claim.  But commonsense would seem to indicate that our Government would need something like this “perfect” opportunity as an excuse to take absolute total control over us before things “get out of hand” as the result of the collapse of The MATRIX (our false economy based on Monopoly money).  With these facts in mind it is the intent of The Liberty Tree Lantern to provide the public with as much possible to “likely” facts as possible so that you have the information you need to make a decision.  If we procure the fully credible source and confirmation we need to establish these reports as a fact, we will do so.

We do know that the day of “Choosing” is soon in coming.  We have a date with destiny, folks.  The day will soon come where we will be left with a choice of freedom or slavery under absolute despotism of a green “hybrid” Socialist, Communist, Fascist United Nations style, Multicultural non-American, welfare BIG BROTHER One World Government police State or freedom.  It seems self-evident, just by simple commonsense, that our Government will be trying to do anything and everything they can to make sure that we never get the chance to choose.  Obviously most people in power in both houses of Congress, the Administration and even The Supreme Court do not want us to have the choice, because after the royal screw job they did to our rights, freedom, liberty and economy as the result of their scofflaw activities, we will surely throw the bums out of office IF THEY ARE LUCKY as to not be tried as Socialist/Communist traitors to The Constitution, America and every one of us individually who are now starting to really suffer the consequences.   In less than two years the Government will have no choice but to tax the average common working man at least 80% of his earnings just to pay for the UNFUNDED liabilities of the Social Security and Medicare Socialist ponzi schemes alone.  Just these two programs are over $90 Trillion Dollars ($90,000,000,000,000.00) in debt, over the infinite horizon, as reported by The Washington Times.  Glenn Beck has reported that the figure is $99 TRILLION.

So you see folks, the U.S. Government HAS TO do something like use a crisis like the H1N1 to start to reign in our individual power over them as provided in our supreme laws of the land.

Now, following, is a very important report about the H1N1 that you need to hear.   Unfortunately it appears that the video has an automatic link to Alex Jones who, personally, I sometimes wonder if he isn’t going too far on “some” of his assertions.   But in any case The Liberty Tree Lantern does find that the first video is credible and so we present you with its information:

Now, that being presented to you, The Liberty Tree Lantern must also inform you that Wisconsin Assemblyman John Nygren’s (89^th district) has gotten back to us and stated that they have checked with both the State of Wisconsin and the Department of Homeland Security and have stated directly to this writer, Capt. Karl, that there are no plans for any quarantine zones at this time.  Okay, so good, so far.

But as I hung up the phone with Mr. Nygren’s staff I couldn’t help but wonder, if the U.S. Government really wants to get us “under control” before the collapse of the MaTRix, then why would they allow a Wisconsin Assemblyman to spill the beans?  Especially in light of the Tea Parties, Town Hall meetings and all of the freedom and liberty organizations popping up all across America.  Seeing as how active the American people are getting, 1.7 million confirmed marching on Washington D.C. just a few weeks ago for example, why would they pre-warn us about their plans where we could make plans and preparations on what WE are going to do.  If this were just any other year, say pre-2004, I would say okay there isn’t anything going on to be worried about.  But in this situation I can easily see a situation where the U.S. Government and, perhaps, certain authorities in Governor Doyle’s office might feel it important to lie to Mr. Nygren’s staff to prevent civil unrest and public thought and preparation.

While The Liberty Tree Lantern is happy to report that Assemblyman John Nygren’s office has sounded the “all clear”, I would still suggest that we proceed to consider the possibility that the U.S. Government has few options that make the surprise factor extremely important. 

If something is going down I would suggest that they are going to see how many people take the vaccine without any coercion so that they can see who their Tories are.  Then they would go to level 2 and use only a very small amount of coercion.  This would be followed up to level 3 patriots who completely refuse to bow to tyranny and this is where such quarantine zones would be fully implemented and such persons would be marked and likely permanently tracked; as so called “domestic terrorists” perhaps with tracking bracelets from EMSystems (Milwaukee) called EM Tracker.

IF all of this “Swine Flu” vaccination/U.S. Government nightmare IS going down in the next few weeks.  I hope this “ultimatum” that the U.S. Government has planned for the Swine Flu vaccinations isn’t really going to happen, but so far several news sources, other than The State of Wisconsin, is reporting that it is a FACT.  You all need to be thinking about this, talking about this with everybody you see, and make a decision about what you are going to do BEFORE you are confronted with it, which is going to start next week.  You need to click on the links in the next “preceding” e-mail to fully understand what the U.S. Government is planning on doing to you and your children.  ARE YOU READY FOR THIS?  This, so far, unless things change is going to happen over the next week to a month and a half, according to the U.S. Government. 

Richard Church, my dear Wisconsin delegate to the NEW Continental Congress convening in St. Charles, IL on November 8th, would you please be so kind as to bring this matter of national emergency up before the assembly?  And, please keep me posted on all matters, especially this one of temporal significance.

Now my reply to Larry’s reply, below, to me:

According to laws of our land and principles as documented in The Declaration of Independence and The Constitution of The United (but independent and sovereign) States of America, it is not me “looking for a fight”.  The Declaration of Independence states in black and white: “when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty to throw off such Government.  Therefore, The real question is, , , ,  ,    is the U.S. Government looking for a fight by way of even more usurpations and illegal Constitutionally contemptuous behaviors and activities that we the people did not authorize in the law that we laid out in the Constitution for them to follow?

As Samuel Adams said; “Our contest is not only whether we ourselves shall be free, but whether there shall be left to mankind an asylum on earth for civil and religious liberty” 

Capt. Karl said; “Anybody who is so stupid and wimpy as to blindly follow Constitutionally illegal laws because of coercion by any tyrannical government, isn’t worth a shit.”

Samuel Adams said: “We have this day restored the Sovereign to Whom all men ought to be obedient. He reigns in heaven (not Washington) and from the rising to the setting of the sun, let His kingdom come.” 

And so, this day, Mr. Adams’ following words never rang more true than they do in these days that try men’s souls:

“Contemplate the mangled bodies of your countrymen, and then say ‘what should be the reward of such sacrifices?’ Bid us and our posterity bow the knee, supplicate the friendship and plough, and sow, and reap, to glut the avarice of the men who have let loose on us the dogs of war to riot in our blood and hunt us from the face of the earth? If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!”

The question is folks, during the course of the next week to a month are we going to let the U.S. Government “force” us to comply with their unrighteousness or are we going to do something about it? 

This show was just on a couple of days ago.

Are you going to “let” them take you to a Concentration Camp?  So far, right up to this very moment in time, according to television news broadcasts, as you can see on the video in the links that I provide you above and more below, that   IS  what the U.S. Government IS planning on doing, if you refuse to take the vaccine.  What on Earth could be more serious?  And, if we let them do this to us, what is next?  Is this just the beginning of a precedence of a long train of usurpations, tyranny and Constitutional contempt not seen since the days of our Revolutionary War that started in 1776 with ‘our’ long established Government at the time that we had for over 150 years?

Isn’t this exactly what the Declaration of Independence and The Constitution were written for, to place strict limits on the authority that WE ‘borrowed’ to the U.S. Government from that which we were given by God himself?  If we don’t stand up to protect our own health, rights and even our Constitution, from our U.S. Government, now in the face of this despotism, than who is?  Who is going to hold all three branches of the U.S. Government accountable to the law if we don’t?

To say that “TIME IS OF THE Essence”, unless the U.S. Government withdraws its current plans, is an understatement.  People, according to the U.S. Government this is going to start going down next week.  You need to decide NOW what you are going to do when you are confronted by the authorities.  Trying to make a decision, on the spot, with a Trooper in front of you, probably won’t be the wisest thing for you or your family.  Obviously the first few weeks will be run, by the Government, pretty innocently.  But in the latter weeks, after all of the Tories, have gone through the vaccination lines that is when things will start to get rough.  But even that is a very small 2 week extension, perhaps, for you to make your decision on what you are going to do, when you and your family are given the “ultimatum”, the vaccination or the free bus ride.  This is not a joke!  If you decide not to take the vaccination you better leave yourself with plenty of time to think and prepare for whatever the Government is going to do to you and your family.  If you are thinking about going to the Concentration Camp you had better see the video here:

Just so you all know, as indicated below, Sue and I have decided that we will NOT comply with either choice and we are planning and preparing for whatever we have to do to protect ourselves and our children.  We are not going timidly into the night, without a fight to protect our God given rights.  I know not what course you take, but for me, GIVE ME LIBERTY,  OR GIVE ME DEATH.

Starting in 1933 with FDR’s Civilian Conservation Corps, progressive Democrats have had a long history of promoting the idea of “National Service” in this country. Barack Obama continued that tradition during his campaign with proposals for one hundred hours of community service in exchange for a $4,000 college tuition tax credits coupled with fifty hours per year of mandatory service to be demanded from every middle and high school student. While this particular plan has yet to be implemented, on April 21, Obama did sign the Serve America Act which transfers six billion dollars of taxpayer money to the government’s Corporation for National and Community Service, to be used to expand the existing AmeriCorps organization, adding 175,000 additional people to the government payroll. He also signed a bill which takes the audacious step of redesignating September 11th as a “National Day of Service“!President Obama has stated:

And Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel has said:

And notice that Emanuel’s plan is not just for training, but for understanding, which can only mean indoctrination into the government’s view of what it means to be a “good and useful citizen”!

These quotes, along with the actions of this administration, make it very clear that Barack Obama believes that the citizens of America owe a duty to their country, and that they should be compelled to meet this obligation through mandatory service. This is nothing less than a push to make every citizen and indentured servant to the state, which of course, inverts the proper relationship of the government and its citizenry while violating the Thirteenth Amendment.

United We Slave

While working to push mandatory service legislation through Congress, the White House has created an organization called United We Serve, which acts as a clearinghouse for initiatives all across the country where individuals can volunteer for public service in their communities.Now, if this were an activity undertaken by a private organization, there would be nothing wrong with publicizing such opportunities and allowing people to freely volunteer their time, effort or money to promote actions which they judged to be beneficial and were therefore eager to support. But the government is not like any other private organization. It is a repository and instrument of force. While we may freely choose whether or not to associate with any given private organization without fear of reprisal, the government operates through coercion, compelling us to follow its mandates under the threat of fines or incarceration, and it is this simple fact which renders the government’s involvement in promoting activities like these wholy inappropriate.

It might be argued that, in and of itself, United We Serve appears to be completely benign, without a hint of threat or coercion associated with any of the activities being promoted, — but this is not true. The implication of force always accompanies any governmental action. We already know from this administration’s own statements that it desires to make national service a requirement of citizenship, so an organization such as this, which uses public funds to register information on all “projects”, and aids in matching “volunteers” to those projects, can easily be seen as just a first step towards the ultimate goal of mandating participation from all citizens in the future.

But don’t take my word for it. Many of Obama’s Hollywood supporters understand exactly what the President requires of them. For example, in this video ad, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore make it all explicit when they:

Now, some might argue that these are just a few actors who have completely misinterpreted the President’s meaning. So instead, let’s look at what the administration is proposings in its own words. In preparation for Obama’s September 8th speech to school children all across the country, the government originally made the following “suggestions” to teachers of pre-K through sixth grade, to have the students:

In response to the public outcry at such blatant tactics of indoctrination, these guidelines were changed, but the intent and the message is clear. Students, too young to fully grasp the principles involved, are being subtly encouraged to see themselves as subservient to the President and to learn to place the government’s desires or society’s goals ahead of their own. With the release of the text of his speech to students, we see this mind-set in action:

So, the message to the students is that they should stay in school and study hard, not strictly for the benefits of creating more opportunities and achieving a better life for themselves, but principally so that they can become good, productive citizens and contribute to solving the countries myriad problems.

 

“Don’t let your country down!   Meet your obligation and commit to serving the common good.” This is not the credo of freedom, but instead a call to slavery.

Individualism versus Self-Sacrifice

  “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the consent of the governed …“   [Emphasis added]
  To create a society where free people may pursue their own individual goals and dreams—in other words, their happiness—while living in peace and harmony with others.

What is insidious about the push for National Service is how it so totally violates the concept of individualism, which is the bedrock principle underlying the U.S. Constitution. The purpose of the Constitution was to: (1) recognize the unalienable rights of each individual; (2) establish a governmental framework for protecting those rights; and (3) place strict limits on the power and scope of government so that it could not abuse its mandate and itself become an instrument for the violation of individuals’ rights. As the Declaration of Independence states: 

This statement very clearly established the hierarchical relationship between a citizen and their government. The existence of the rights of the individual, and the need to protect those rights, are the sole justification for the creation of government. A government is not a sovereign entity with any inherent rights or privileges of its own, but instead, only acquires it legitimacy from the voluntary consent of its citizens, and only insofar as it adheres to its constitutionally prescribed function of protecting its citizen’s rights. The existence of government is not an end we strive for, but simply a means to a different end:

 

Barack Obama’s incessant call for sacrifice by US citizens is an affront to the Constitution. Free individuals are not a resource to be called upon to serve at the behest of the President for the government’s grand designs. Instead, it is the government, which has been instituted for the explicit purpose of serving the needs of its citizens in protecting their rights. By elevating the purpose and value of “government” or “society” above that of the the citizen, Obama perverts the fundamental principle of the Constitution, substituting collectivism in place of individualism.

 

The Morality of Altruism

Individuals are turned into sacrificial animals, only by accepting the moral code of altruism, which is defined as: 

Only by first convincing someone that their personal hopes, dreams, desires, feelings, goals and lives are of less importance when compared to those of another person, group, or even possibly to an abstract ideal, do you prepare them for slavery and sacrifice. Growing up in Soviet Russia during the aftermath of its revolution, the philosopher, Ayn Rand, watched first hand as the morality of altruism played itself out, writ large across an entire country’s population. The lesson she learned was that altruistic dogma applied only to those destined to be ruled by an elite leadership that was not subject to the same standards. Or as the character Ellsworth Toohey from The Fountainhead puts it, when asked by Peter Keating as to what he is really after:

 

Can you hear the voice of our politicians in these words?

When you read the phrase:

 

isn’t it ominously suggestive of the video by Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, pledging to be servants to the President and all mankind?

While the concept of National Service is particularly vicious, it is only one program of many that the government imposes, or attempts to impose, upon us under the justification of self-sacrifice and service to others. All social programs that declare that some individual or group is entitled to goods and services by right, also involve some other party that is then made responsible for providing those goods and services at their expense. Some of these include:

 

Each recipient benefiting from these programs abdicates responsibility for their own life and casts themselves into the role of ward of the state. And, for each of these government programs to operate, other individuals are required to work, producing value in the marketplace, only to have the product of their labor taken from them by force and redistributed to “the wards” against their will, while receiving no direct benefit themselves. The proper term for this arrangement is slavery.

It is the morality of altruism that makes all of this possible, and it is altruism that must be stopped.

The Antidote: A Personal Declaration of Independence

The proper standard of ethics is: man’s survival qua man—i.e., that which is required by man’s nature for his survival as a rational being (not his momentary physical survival as a mindless brute). Rationality is man’s basic virtue, and his three fundamental values are: reason, purpose, self-esteem. Man—every man—is an end in himself, not a means to the ends of others; he must live for his own sake, neither sacrificing himself to others nor sacrificing others to himself; he must work for his rational self-interest, with the achievement of his own happiness as the highest moral purpose of his life.“  — Any Rand   [From the Ayn Rand Institute]
  “I swear by my life, and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.“
  In other words, you are stating that you are neither a ward nor a slave of the state.

This pledge, which one makes to oneself, is an expression of individualism, and a Personal Declaration of Independence from the shackles of both society and the state.

The first half of the pledge is a recognition that no others have a claim, by right, to your life, whether they be an individual, a group, or the government, and you assert your freedom and independence.

The second half of the pledge indicates a recognition that you are a self-sufficient adult, prepared to take responsibility for the conduct of your own life, and, respecting the rights of others, you have no intention of forcing them to fulfill that responsibility for you.

The only good thing that can be said about JPMorgan Chase is that, like Arvedlund, it was perceptive enough to smell the Madoff rat. But unlike Arvedlund, who tried to sound the alarm, JPMorgan Chase kept quiet and tried to protect itself.

Arvedlund explains:

In 2006, JPMorgan Chase developed a derivative product for its wealthy clients. It was linked to the Fairfield Sentry Fund offered by the Madoff feeder Fairfield Greenwich. The bank offered investors — mostly in Europe — a note that paid three times the earnings, or returns, of the Sentry Fund. The note matured in five years. To hedge its risk on the derivative product, the bank invested in the Sentry Fund itself. This way, if the Sentry Fund did well, the bank’s returns would offset its obligation on the notes.

By the summer of 2008, JPMorgan Chase had deposited $250 million with the Sentry Fund. With the financial meltdown on Wall Street and around the world in full swing, most of the markets were down 30% or more, and yet the Sentry Fund reported gains of 5%. JPMorgan Chase began to grow suspicious.

As a result:

In September 2008, JPMorgan Chase quietly liquidated its entire $250 million position in the Sentry Fund, even though it remained liable on the derivatives it had sold to the wealthy clients. At the time, the Fairfield Sentry investment notes were showing a 5% gain for the year. The bank had concluded Madoff was a phony, and the only way to protect itself was to liquidate anything connected with Madoff.

When JPMorgan Chase bought what was left of Bear Stearns last year, it inherited a relationship with Madoff that is also sure to raise more questions about its ethics. According to Arvedlund:

Brokers who traded at Bear Stearns used the firm’s automated equity order system to buy and sell stocks. A broker would enter the stock symbol and the number of shares he or she wanted to trade. The system was supposed to do the rest: work to find the best counterparty to trade with from among the many market makers that traded with Bear Stearns. However, for Nasdaq stocks, Bear Stearns had an unwritten code: the system automatically defaulted to trade with Madoff.

Madoff reportedly paid Bear Stearns substantial fees for this default setting on their equity order system, and he may have paid other customers to do the same as well. Between 2000 and 2008, Bear Stearns’ 400 or so brokers all used this system, and all their Nasdaq trades defaulted to Madoff. It was a big source of revenue for Madoff, and it vaulted Bear Stearns to a position as the largest counterparty trading with Madoff. The arrangement was in place when Bear Stearns went under in early 2008, and it continued under JPMorgan Chase.

JPMorgan Chase and/or the JPMorgan Chase Foundation are major funders of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) and related organizations. ACORN is a network of as many as 360 organizations, structured to escape accountability, a network far more complicated than anything Madoff ever constructed.

ACORN has had its own embezzlement scandal. Dale Rathke, the brother of ACORN founder Wade Rathke, stole nearly $1 million in 1999 and 2000. ACORN treated the crime as an internal matter and did not even notify its board. A whistle-blower made it public. Dale Rathke remained on ACORN’s payroll until June 2008.

According to its 2007 tax return (the most recent available), the JPMorgan Chase Foundation made a million-dollar gift to ACORN Housing, Inc. that year. This donation is likely the tip of the iceberg of the bank’s total support of ACORN. JPMorgan Chase is one of ACORN largest corporate backers, if not the largest. JPMorgan Chase can take a step toward accountability by disclosing the specifics of its support for ACORN.

Last fall, JPMorgan Chase accepted $25 billion in taxpayer TARP funds. In 2008, the top 200 bonus recipients at JPMorgan Chase received $1.12 billion. The firm had 1,144 employees who received a bonus of least $1 million last year, more than any other Wall Street firm.

You would think with all these millionaires walking around the company, there would be at least a passing acknowledgement of the wealth generation potential of a free economy. Not a chance.  CEO Jamie Dimon sneers at free market advocates. The firm funds a variety of anti-business activists, ACORN being just the most dramatic example.

Dimon is apparently not self-conscious either about ACORN’s role in the residential mortgage crisis, much of it driven by subprime lending. Starting in the Seventies, ACORN saw the big banks as shakedown targets. The weak-kneed executives at these institutions were pretty easy pickings.

ACORN screamed “racism.” It accused mortgage lenders of “redlining,” or denying credit to borrowers in certain areas. It picketed the homes of bank directors in leafy suburbs.
A way out was offered to the banks. They could make contributions to ACORN and/or they could “invest” in ACORN Housing, which made loans to “underserved” borrowers.

They also could back off from opposition to a law called the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 that required banks and thrifts to lend more money from areas where they took deposits. It meant more loans to “underserved” communities, and a loosening of lending standards.

Of course, many of ACORN’s “deserving” borrowers were not deserving at all. Increasingly, the banks dumped the loans on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, which were under pressure by Congressmen like Barney Frank (D-MA) to make more loans to the “underserved.”

The result was the mortgage meltdown that nearly took down our entire financial system, providing the justification for the massive bailouts of the banks. But Dimon acts like JMorgan Chase has no culpability because of its “solid” balance sheet.

According to Arvedlund, there are already civil suits against JPMorgan Chase by investors whose funds were acccepted into Madoff’s account at the bank after it had concluded that Madoff was a fraud. Of course, this may also be criminal, but there is no word that the bank is the target of a criminal investigation.

During the campaign, Dimon was a vocal supporter of Barack Obama. On July 18, the New York Times called Dimon “Obama’s favorite banker.” Dimon may hope that this relationship will insulate his firm from prosecution in the Madoff case. In any event, JPMorgan Chase’s culture must be questioned, along with Dimon’s credibility and leadership.

In any case this MATRIX is going to collapse, by something known as hyper-inflation, which is actually the revaluation of the dollar to its true value by the entire world, in less than three years.  Welcome this nightmare folks, because without the total collapse of the MATRIX we will never be free or have liberty, or ever be individually wealthy.  The MATRIX was created to imprison our minds and enslave us for the power and wealth of the power hungry megalomaniacs of the world; the forty owners of The Federal Reserve “System” and their cronies in the U.S. Government and in ‘certain’ BIG Corporations. 

Pray for the temporary horror of the utter collapse of The MATRIX, our economy, because if we each INDIVIDUALLY BUT UNITED fight for and   PERSONALLY   ENFORCE  the rule of LAW that we wrote, established and ordained in The Constitution upon our U.S. Government, word for word, in spirit and intent, as it WAS meant on the day it was ratified, then the vast majority of our common average working men and women will, through very hard work and the blessings of God, become wealthy with REAL money from our creator. 

So pray people, pray for the end of our economy, THE MATRIX, our prison of the mind, which now uses each and every one of us as though we are utter slaves of “the system” being controlled and manipulated through usurpation, Constitutionally illegal legislation, tyranny, oppression, taxation and so-called tax credits where they first STEAL our earnings, before we even get them, in the form of Federal, FICA, and Medicare ”withholding” and payroll taxes that we would have otherwise received from our employers on our paychecks, and then they say they will give us a “little fraction” of what they stole out of our paychecks IF we cow tow to their DEMANDS and mandates. 

What gives them the right to hold us in such utter contempt, when it was We The people who ‘borrowed’ them SEVENTEEN enumerated items in Article 1 Section 8 of The Constitution as further supported by the 9th and 10th Amendments in The Bill of Rights, certain authorities that we individually received from our creator,  for the ‘privilege’ of handling for us.    How dare they?

Last autumn’s global financial crisis set off an economic earthquake. And we are still feeling the tremors. The latest sign of the ground shifting beneath our feet is our report today of plans by Gulf states, China, Russia, France and Japan to end their practice of conducting oil deals in US dollars, switching instead to a diverse basket of currencies.

It is not hard to see the motivation for oil exporters to move away from the dollar. The value of the US currency has fallen sharply since last year’s meltdown. And fears are growing, in the light of a spiraling US government deficit, that a further depreciation is likely. They do not want to sell their wares in return for a currency with an uncertain future.

It is also easy to see why China would like a world trading system that is underpinned by other currencies as well as the dollar. For the past decade Beijing has been recycling the proceeds of its giant national trade surplus into purchases of US government bonds and other dollar-denominated assets. China too stands to make a significant loss if the value of the dollar falls. For China, however, the timing is much more sensitive. Beijing needs to reduce its dollar holdings, but if it does so too quickly it will bring about the very devaluation it fears. This explains why Chinese officials appear to want this transition to take place gradually over the next decade.

But the significance of this development goes much further. Since the end of the Second World War the dollar has been the bedrock of world trade. The pre-eminence of the American currency flowed naturally from the economic dominance of the US. Virtually everyone traded with America so it made sense to use their currency.

But the US is not the dominant power that it once was. The financial crisis has left it hobbled with significant government and household debts and sharply reduced prospects for growth. Developing nations such as China, Brazil and India, on the other hand, have weathered the economic storm significantly better. So while this latest proposal is born of financial calculation, it is also a reflection of a new economic world order.

We should not be sentimental for the dollar. It makes economic sense for world trade to be conducted in a variety of currencies. Relying on one only has the advantage of clarity, but it also creates instability if the economy that underpins it faces uncertain prospects.

Yet we need to understand that exchange rate volatility is a symptom, rather than a cause, of what truly ails the world economy. The biggest driver of global economic instability in recent years has been the determination of China to boost its export sector at all costs. Beijing’s persistently large trade surpluses and manipulation to prevent its own currency from appreciating have effectively forced Western nations into running persistently large trade deficits. It was this pressure that blew up various asset bubbles that burst with such disastrous effect last year.

A gradual move away from the dollar makes sense. But without a commitment from world governments – both in the rich and developing world – to reduce these destabilizing global trade imbalances we will enter an uncertain new era; and one that could yet make us pine for the days of the dominant greenback.

Now a comment on the above article by The Liberty Tree Lantern:

Folks, this is just the first attempt to program your MATRIX dominated mind to accept a one world currency.  But remember, if you do you will be permanently be giving away your freedom, liberty and individual prosperity in exchange for human slavery, oppression, and tyranny with nowhere on Earth to run from the IRS and endless massive taxation of almost everything you ever earn and work for.  If we accept a one world currency, that they will try to push on us, eventually soon after, we will be forced into a One World Government / a New World Order.

David Crockett

My paternal ancestors settled in East Tennessee about 10 years before it was admitted to the Union (1796). Not far from where they settled lived a fellow who was the region’s most famous frontiersman.

David Crockett was his name.

He has been immortalized as a folk hero, known for his battles with the Red Stick Creek Indians under Andrew Jackson, and his last stand at the Alamo with fellow Patriots James Bowie from Kentucky and William Travis from South Carolina.

Crockett battled the Creek side-by-side with fellow Tennessean Sam Houston, but both men were friends to the Cherokee clans, which were composed of highly civilized native peoples living in the border regions between Tennessee and North Carolina.

At the end of his formal service as a soldier, he was elected Lieutenant Colonel of the Tennessee Militia.

Crockett is less known for the several terms he served in Congress between 1827 and 1835 during the presidency of his old commander, Andrew Jackson. Crockett’s friend, Sam Houston, had been elected governor of Tennessee. (Houston, who would later become governor of Texas, is the only American in history to serve as governor of two states.)

Though he had little formal education, Crockett exuded a commanding presence and was feared, if not loathed, by his more refined congressional colleagues for his backwoods rhetoric.

In one of his more legendary orations, Crockett proclaimed: “Mr. Speaker … the gentleman from Massachusetts [Mr. Everett] talks of summing up the merits of the question, but I’ll sum up my own. In one word I’m a screamer, and have got the roughest racking horse, the prettiest sister, the surest rifle and the ugliest dog in the district. I’m a leetle the savagest crittur you ever did see. My father can whip any man in Kentucky, and I can lick my father. I can out-speak any man on this floor, and give him two hours start. I can run faster, dive deeper, stay longer under, and come out drier, than any chap this side the big Swamp. I can outlook a panther and outstare a flash of lightning, tote a steamboat on my back and play at rough and tumble with a lion, and an occasional kick from a zebra.”

Crockett continued, “I can take the rag off — frighten the old folks — astonish the natives — and beat the Dutch all to smash, make nothing of sleeping under a blanket of snow and don’t mind being frozen more than a rotten apple. I can walk like an ox, run like a fox, swim like an eel, yell like an Indian, fight like a devil, spout like an earthquake, make love like a mad bull, and swallow a Mexican whole without choking if you butter his head and pin his ears back.”

What I wouldn’t give to hear a tad more of that on the floor of the House these days!

Though his rhetoric may have been unorthodox, Crockett was a man of principle.

His fervent opposition to Andrew Jackson’s Indian Removal Act of 1830 (forcing removal of the peaceful Cherokee tribes along the infamous “Trail of Tears”) cost Crockett his congressional seat, but he declared, “I bark at no man’s bid. I will never come and go, and fetch and carry, at the whistle of the great man in the White House no matter who he is.”

But it was Crockett’s stalwart opposition to unconstitutional spending that is most worth noting given today’s congressional penchant for such spending in the trillions.

According to the Register of Debates for the House of Representatives, 20th Congress, 1st Session on April 2, 1828, Crocket stood to challenge the constitutionality of one of the earliest welfare spending bills.

While the exact text of his speech was not recorded in full (as that was not the practice of the time), the spirit of his words was captured years later under the heading “Not yours to give” in the book “The Life of Colonel David Crockett” by Edward Ellis.

Ellis wrote, “One day in the House of Representatives a bill was taken up appropriating money for the benefit of a widow of a distinguished naval officer. Several beautiful speeches had been made in its support. The Speaker was just about to put the question when Crockett arose…”

According to Ellis, Crockett said, “Mr. Speaker; I have as much respect for the memory of the deceased, and as much sympathy for the sufferings of the living, if suffering there be, as any man in this House, but we must not permit our respect for the dead or our sympathy for a part of the living to lead us into an act of injustice to the balance of the living. I will not go into an argument to prove that Congress has not the power to appropriate this money as an act of charity. Every member upon this floor knows it. We have the right, as individuals, to give away as much of our own money as we please in charity; but as members of Congress we have no right so to appropriate a dollar of the public money. Some eloquent appeals have been made to us upon the ground that it is a debt due the deceased. Mr. Speaker, the deceased lived long after the close of the war; he was in office to the day of his death, and I have never heard that the government was in arrears to him.

“Every man in this House knows it is not a debt. We cannot, without the grossest corruption, appropriate this money as the payment of a debt. We have not the semblance of authority to appropriate it as charity. Mr. Speaker, I have said we have the right to give as much money of our own as we please. I am the poorest man on this floor. I cannot vote for this bill, but I will give one week’s pay to the object, and if every member of Congress will do the same, it will amount to more than the bill asks.”

Though the measure was expected to receive unanimous support, after Crockett’s objection, it did not pass.

Be sure you are right…

Ellis recounts that Crocket was later asked by a friend why he had opposed the appropriation, and he replied: “Several years ago I was one evening standing on the steps of the Capitol with some other members of Congress, when our attention was attracted by a great light over in Georgetown. It was evidently a large fire. We jumped into a hack and drove over as fast as we could. In spite of all that could be done, many houses were burned and many families made houseless, and, besides, some of them had lost all but the clothes they had on. The weather was very cold, and when I saw so many women and children suffering, I felt that something ought to be done for them. The next morning a bill was introduced appropriating $20,000 for their relief. We put aside all other business and rushed it through as soon as it could be done.”

Crocket explained, “The next summer, when it began to be time to think about election, I concluded I would take a scout around among the boys of my district. I had no opposition there, but, as the election was some time off, I did not know what might turn up. When riding one day in a part of my district in which I was more of a stranger than any other, I saw a man in a field plowing and coming toward the road. I gauged my gait so that we should meet as he came to the fence. As he came up, I spoke to the man. He replied politely, but, as I thought, rather coldly.

“I began: ‘Well, friend, I am one of those unfortunate beings called candidates, and…”

His constituent interrupted, “Yes I know you; you are Colonel Crockett. I have seen you once before, and voted for you the last time you were elected. I suppose you are out electioneering now, but you had better not waste your time or mine, I shall not vote for you again.”

Crockett replied, “This was a sockdolager … I begged him to tell me what was the matter.”

The farmer said, “Well, Colonel, it is hardly worth-while to waste time or words upon it. I do not see how it can be mended, but you gave a vote last winter which shows that either you have not capacity to understand the Constitution, or that you are wanting in the honesty and firmness to be guided by it. In either case you are not the man to represent me. But I beg your pardon for expressing it in that way. I did not intend to avail myself of the privilege of the constituent to speak plainly to a candidate for the purpose of insulting or wounding you. I intend by it only to say that your understanding of the Constitution is very different from mine; and I will say to you what, but for my rudeness, I should not have said, that I believe you to be honest. But an understanding of the Constitution different from mine I cannot overlook, because the Constitution, to be worth anything, must be held sacred, and rigidly observed in all its provisions. The man who wields power and misinterprets it is the more dangerous the more honest he is.”

Crocket responded, “Well, my friend; I may as well own up. You have got me there. But certainly nobody will complain that a great and rich country like ours should give the insignificant sum of $20,000 to relieve its suffering women and children, particularly with a full and overflowing Treasury, and I am sure, if you had been there, you would have done just as I did.”

But the farmer fired back, “It is not the amount, Colonel, that I complain of; it is the principle. In the first place, the government ought to have in the Treasury no more than enough for its legitimate purposes. But that has nothing with the question. The power of collecting and disbursing money at pleasure is the most dangerous power that can be entrusted to man. … So you see, Colonel, you have violated the Constitution in what I consider a vital point. It is a precedent fraught with danger to the country, for when Congress once begins to stretch its power beyond the limits of the Constitution, there is no limit to it, and no security for the people.”

Thus, Crockett explained of his opposition to support the widow of that distinguished naval officer: “Now, sir, you know why I made that speech yesterday.”

Today, there are but a handful of Senate and House incumbents who dare support and defend the Constitution as Crockett did. But there are candidates emerging around the nation who, with our support, will deliver orations as brazen and eloquent, and stand firm behind those words.

1. According to several polls the majority of individual American have a very low job approval rating for the Obama Administration and the U.S. Congress.
2. Capt. Karl has observed watching numerous recent business programs, anecdotally, that the majority of the CEOs of huge corporations around America still support President Obama in a very big way.
3. It is self-evident and has been reported in the news this morning that the Obama and recent U.S. Congress policies clearly have been devastating all segments of small business and new upcoming legislation will be additional detriments to small businesses.  NPR reported just this morning that “Mom and Pop” establishments are being shut down and being bought up by large conglomerates.
4. Several news and analysis articles / segments have highlighted the horrendous impacts of taxation, fees, regulation and red tape – paperwork on small businesses as written bills already passed and  in upcoming bills such as health care, Cap and Trade and several others.
5. If this path of America keeps up nobody but the cronies of Big Banks, Big Business or Big Government will have a hope of achieving success and the American dream.  We common folk will have no hope to get ahead in life.  We will be stuck in the rut with no hope to get ahead and do well for ourselves and our families.  Building a small business will be a thing of the past.
6. Paper work, red tape, Government fees, taxes, employment  and payroll taxes is already a very heavy burden on small business.  It is only going to get far worse.  Only big business can afford the overhead and staff to handle the volumes of “unproductive” paper work, tax reports and other reports required by BIG Government bureaus.
7. Why has it been only huge corporations and huge Banks that have been getting BAILOUTS using our earnings taken right out of our paychecks from our earnings in the form of Federal Withholding and Payroll Taxes by our employers  (that aren’t even printed on our pay stub and are the hidden tax that in reality comes right out of our pay)? ?
8. Now there are reports that certain biased news media, certain Newspapers, might get our income taxes via Bailouts because we don’t buy their propaganda anymore.  Propaganda that the U.S. Congress and the Obama Administration feels is vital to continue their dark and dismal path of Socialism, Communism, and Fascism for our country.

I suggest that it would behoove us all to find out why the CEOs of the largest corporations like Dell, GE, big Pharma, and many others are supporting the current direction of our country.

As many as one million people flooded into Washington for a massive rally organised by conservatives claiming that President Obama is driving America towards socialism.

The size of the crowd – by far the biggest protest since the president took office in January – shocked the White House.

Demonstrators massed outside Capitol Hill after marching down Pennsylvania Avenue waving placards and chanting ‘Enough, enough’.

Tens of thousands of people converged on Capitol Hill on Saturday to protest against government spending

The focus of much of the anger was the president’s so-called ‘Obamacare’ plan to overhaul the U.S. health system. 

Demonstrators waved U.S. flags and held signs reading ‘Go Green Recycle Congress’ and ‘I’m Not Your ATM’.’

The protest on Saturday came as Mr Obama took his campaign for health reforms on the road, making his argument to a rally of 15,000 supporters in Minneapolis.

Saying he was determined to push through a bill making health insurance more affordable, Mr Obama said: ‘I intend to be president for a while and once this bill passes, I own it.

‘I will not waste time with those who think that it’s just good politics to kill healthcare.’

But in Washington, protester Richard Brigle, 57, a Vietnam veteran, said: ‘It’s going to cost too much money we don’t have.’ Another marcher shouted: ‘You want socialism? Go to Russia!’ 

Terri Hall, 45, of Florida, said she felt compelled to become political for the first time this year because she was upset by government spending.

‘Our government has lost sight of the powers they were granted,’ she said. She added that the deficit spending was out of control, and said she thought it was putting the country at risk.

Anna Hayes, 58, a nurse from Fairfax County, stood on the Mall in 1981 for Reagan’s inauguration. ‘The same people were celebrating freedom,’ she said. ‘The president was fighting for the people then. I remember those years very well and fondly.’

Saying she was worried about ‘Obamacare,’Hayes explained: ‘This is the first rally I’ve been to that demonstrates against something, the first in my life. I just couldn’t stay home anymore.’

Andrew Moylan, of the National Taxpayers Union, received a roar of approval after he told protesters: ‘Hell hath no fury like a taxpayer ignored.’

Republican lawmakers also supported the rally.

‘Republicans, Democrats and independents are stepping up and demanding we put our fiscal house in order,’ Rep. Mike Pence, chairman of the House Republican Conference, said.

‘I think the overriding message after years of borrowing, spending and bailouts is enough is enough.’

FreedomWorks Foundation, a conservative organization led by former House of Representatives Majority Leader Dick Armey, organized several groups from across the country for what they billed as a ‘March on Washington.’

Organisers said they had built on momentum from the April ‘tea party’ demonstrations held nationwide to protest at Mr Obama’s taxation policies, along with growing resentment over his economic stimulus packages and bank bailouts.

The heated demonstrations were organized by a Conservative group called the Tea Party Patriots

Other sponsors of the rally include the Heartland Institute, Americans for Tax Reform and the Ayn Rand Center for Individuals Rights.

Recent polls illustrate how difficult recent weeks have been for a president who, besides tackling health care, has been battling to end a devastatingly deep recession.  

Fifty per cent approve and 49 per cent disapprove of the overall job he is doing as president, compared to July, when those approving his performance clearly outnumbered those who were unhappy with it, 55 per cent to 42 per cent.

Just 42 percent approve of the president’s work on the high-profile health issue.

The poll was taken over five days just before Obama’s speech to Congress. That speech reflected Obama’s determination to push ahead despite growing obstacles.

Prior to Obama’s speech before Congress U.S. Capitol Police arrested a man they say tried to get into a secure area near the Capitol with a gun in his car as President Barack Obama was speaking.

On Thursday police spokeswoman Kimberly Schneider said that 28-year-old Joshua Bowman of suburban Falls Church, Virginia, was arrested around 8pm on Wednesday when Obama was due to speak.

Bowman’s intentions were unclear, police said.

There are State certified documents that indicate that the 16th Amendment was NOT ratified by them.  The IRS has been trying to get their hands on these damning documents.  Additionally there are a handful of Supreme Court cases that indicate that the 16th Amendment does not alter the apportionment clauses of The Constitution with regards to direct taxation on earnings.

Grueling war, promises of peace, new attack — are we about to repeat this tired cycle?

After the Second World War, the United Kingdom and the United States once again disarmed at an astonishing rate. By June 1950, even tiny Communist North Korea had access to better tanks and jets than were available to nearby American occupation troops in Japan. Only the threat of a nuclear response kept Stalin’s divisions from walking into postwar Western Europe — mostly disarmed despite efforts to forge a conventional NATO deterrent.

Louis Johnson, briefly Truman’s secretary of defense, had sought to close down the Marine Corps altogether and dismantle as many army divisions as he could — all thought to be superfluous in the new postwar age of strategic air power and nuclear weapons following the defeat of the Axis powers. Admirals were up in arms over massive cancellations of shipbuilding and the mothballing of their fleets.

Then came the Communist-inspired effort to topple Greece and Turkey, the Communist takeover of China, the war in Korea, the brutal Soviet suppression of liberation movements in Eastern Europe, and the massive expansion of the Soviet Union’s conventional and nuclear forces. Only the rearming of the United States in the early 1950s, along with the new policy of containment and foreign aid, stopped the Soviet advance and saved millions from Communist takeovers.

By the mid-1970s the United States was weary again. Vietnam had nearly wrecked the American military and had sent millions into the streets at home. Accommodation and détente — not the rollback of Communism — were the preferred way of dealing with an ascendant, but now supposedly more moderate, Soviet Union.

After the Nixon years and Watergate, the evangelical Jimmy Carter called for defense reductions and an end to our “inordinate” fear of Communism. He put confidence instead in the United Nations, good will among men, and a new emphasis on global human rights, rather than, yet again, reactionary deterrence.

But after the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, Communist intrusions into Central America, the rise of radical Islam, and the takeover of the American embassy in Tehran, Carter ended his presidency in disillusionment about the efficacy of the United Nations, and about the supposedly benign intentions of the Soviet Union and radical Islam.

Nonetheless, Ronald Reagan was considered a cretin for once again massively rearming and waging an ideological war against the “evil empire” created by the Soviet Union, as well as for engaging in provocative acts like bombing Libya and invading Grenada. Reagan spent eight years enlarging all branches of the military, creating new strategic weapons, and opposing Soviet adventurism almost anywhere it was identified. Soon after he left office the Soviet Union collapsed and the Cold War ended.

George Bush continued these policies during the four years of his administration, but then, as if on cue, Bill Clinton reversed course and announced a “peace dividend.” He reduced the number of army and marine divisions and of air wings. The military shrunk radically in size. New weapons programs were put on hold. We settled into the 1990s prosperity of the dot-com boom. The talk was all about twentysomething college dropouts making millions in ground-floor stock options by brainstorming for brilliant new concerns like AskJeeves or America Online. Little Silicon Valleys were going to sprout up everywhere.

By 1999 Americans were focused on whether their president should be merely censured or impeached for engaging in sex acts with a White House intern in the Oval Office. Occasional radical Islamic attacks such as the World Trade Center bombing in 1993, the murder of U.S. servicemen in their Khobar Towers barracks in Saudi Arabia in 1996, the destruction of three of our East African embassies in 1998, and the assault on the U.S.S. Cole in 2000 were all considered police matters that did not warrant a full-fledged military response. It was the global American hegemony and support for Zionist Israel, not existential hatred for Western freedom and liberality, that provoked these outbursts from an exasperated radical Islam.

Then came 9/11, and the belated catch-up inevitably followed. A new Department of Homeland Security was created with bipartisan support. Both houses of Congress passed the Patriot Act. A majority of Democratic senators voted with the Republicans to authorize two wars, in Afghanistan and Iraq. President Bush enlarged the defense budget. In the dark days after 9/11, Americans praised the FBI, CIA, and armed forces for keeping us safe.

Indeed, for the next eight years there was no repetition of the September 11 massacres, despite terrible suicide bombings abroad. For all the tragedy of the occupations in Afghanistan and Iraq, both the Taliban and Saddam Hussein were removed, and ensuing constitutional democracies continued to survive. Tens of thousands of al-Qaeda terrorists flocked to Iraq and were killed there. Their leadership remains attrited and scattered in the wilderness of Waziristan. Dozens of terrorist plots in America were broken up while still in the planning stages. The message went out that if another American city were to be attacked, an unpredictable but angry United States would go after any nation that had supported, housed, or subsidized the terrorists, even if only tangentially.
