The “Debtors Revolt” are Americans trying to make a reasonable demand that banks, virtually cronies of The Federal Reserve “System”, are treated with fairness and dignity. The Liberty Tree Lantern, despite our belief in freedom and free enterprise, has held that it is not right that banks alter a person’s interest rate up significantly, just at the time when a person, often due to no fault of his own, is hitting hard times. Often this unscrupulous action results in keeping an otherwise good man down. Some people are never able to recover or get out from under the debt that many of these banks levy on them. Isn’t it bad enough that the person has fallen on hard times, perhaps lost his or her job due to “sensible” downsizing and modernizing by his company or for recession reasons? What right does a bank have to kick a dog that is already down and out on his or her luck? This is just not right or Christian like, to say the least.

The U.S. House of Representatives may vote this Friday on the “American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009” (the Waxman-Markey bill). We need the many voices of the Partnership for America’s Energy Security to write and call your legislators, urging them to oppose this harmful and misguided legislation.
Addressing climate change is an important issue, and the U.S. oil and natural gas industry has made substantial commitments to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The industry supports balanced legislation to reduce greenhouse gases and replace the patchwork of state and federal regulatory programs, but the Waxman-Markey bill is not the answer. This hastily drafted legislation would:
Significantly increase consumer and business costs for gasoline and other fuels;

A federal jury in Memphis has acquitted a woman charged by the Internal Revenue Service of conspiring to evade taxes on nearly $1 million in income.
Jurors on Friday declared FedEx pilot Vernice Kuglin, 58, not guilty of evading taxes, though the question of how the bill would be paid was left unsettled following the five-day trial.
“I think it is safe to assume the IRS will attempt civil collection, but she is not guilty of tax evasion,” defense attorney Robert Bernhoft of Milwaukee told the Commercial Appeal newspaper.
She said she researched legal documents, court cases and the tax code itself, but claimed she could not find a specific section that stated she is liable to pay taxes. Rather, she found a series of contradictions, she told the Appeal.

The Liberty Tree Lantern had analyzed and had been writing that The Matrix (our economy that only exists in our minds as controlled by The Federal Reserve “System”) almost totally collapsed sometime in mid-September. We have procured a video that now confirms what this writer had forecast over two years ago based on a set of economic principles and indicators.
Now we have obtained a video to confirm what The Liberty Tree Lantern had informed our readers would happen months and years before it happened and at the time it was happening. This event could have been labeled the day our economy stopped. But folks, we are here to tell you that The Matrix has to collapse in order for us to regain our freedom, power and individual prosperity that has been usurped from us by the U.S. Congress and The Federal Reserve “System” the private banking company whose owners are the creators of The Matrix – the economy that only exists in our minds – as our dollar is little more than monopoly money and we have accepted it for payment of our labor and we have bought everything we “think” we bought with monopoly money. We have been programmed to believe that the dollar is worth a dollar, when this private company can print as much of it out of thin air as they want, anytime they want, for whatever reason they want. Why do we believe that monopoly money is really money? We must be mad or brain dead. How did we let them beguile us into this illusion?; This Matrix that give them ultimate power and control over our economy, our finances, our Government and our daily lives?
Watch this video that tells you about the day “The Matrix” almost entirely collapsed:

As the financial landscape of the U.S. changes, people may be looking around for different strategies to protect their wealth.
Writing on his blog, former U.S. representative from Maryland Bob Bauman suggests that those who would like to make sure their assets are safe from taxes and similar threats may want to consider creating an offshore asset protection trust (APT).
Bauman points out that President-elect Barack Obama sponsored the Anti-Tax Haven Act in 2007, which gives the Treasury Secretary the power to issue rules that limit how Americans manage their money offshore.
He suggests that an APT offers both a strong level of defense for your assets and a robust privacy guarantee.

I would like to take the opportunity this column affords for my annual review of some books that I have found to be extremely helpful and that, I believe, would greatly benefit any American who truly loves freedom and constitutional government. The Old Testament prophet warned, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” That adage is as applicable today as it was then. Truly, our country is being destroyed because of a huge ignorance regarding the principles upon which freedom (individual prosperity) and liberty rest.

Again I will repeat, the people will learn of these things you as a Congress have done to us, our laws and, as a result our individual prosperity. You would be wise to start being more respectful of the law including the spirit and intent of it, before things start happening. In the months and short years to come, you will be getting more and more letters like this; for your ignominy and it isn’t going to be pretty.

Under Mr. Waxman’s watch, we can expect a high priority to be placed on the kind of eco-regulations and carbon emissions caps that make businesses shudder and industries wane—without the waxing. This is especially troubling considering the significant number of individuals losing their jobs in the face of a struggling economy.
