The Super Bowl Effect

If a team from the AFC wins the Super Bowl, the national economy will do bad. If a team from the NFC wins the Super Bowl, the national economy will do great. However, the National economy is also supposed to do good if a team from the pre-1970 National Football League wins the Super Bowl, of which the Steelers is one. So what does this mean for the economy? It appears as though this was a heads I win, tails you lose venture.

On a serious basis be careful with your investments. I would do little more than day trading at this point. Buy and hold is going to be extremely risky, to say the least; at least until after the war.

I am predicting total collapse in the second half of 2010 or Q1 2011, because the Federal Reserve is going to have to collect a lot of interest on all the money they are printing plus be able to have hard assets to support the additional monopoly money they will need to cover Social Security and Medicare. This will result in massive temptation to force / compel / persuade the American people to accept a one world government, which will mean the end of our freedom and individual prosperity for anybody but people in Government and cronies of The Fed. All good things BTW; because there are more of us than anybody knows; it soon will be time to don our Indian garb and let the tea party begin O’ Sons of Liberty. After which and a few years of economic hardship and war, we can bask in individual wealth and freedom, without fear of the Government stealing our earnings, rights or liberty.

Folks, The Liberty Tree Lantern not only appreciates Brett Farve, we also believe that he is also a patriot who believes in freedom and deeply appreciates our service men and women.

We post this, however, for the larger point. Why don’t we all appreciate our real “heroes”, who protect us from The Caliphate, who are under marching orders direct from the Koran, to kill us if we do not convert to the Muslim religion? How many of them would be here in America blowing us and our children up at restaurants and/or taking out a city or three, if they wouldn’t have killed them in Iraq? In a free country it is impossible to completely stop them from coming over here.

We all need to think about and appreciate the work, service and sacrifice our soldiers made to keep us safe and free in these Caliphate troubled times!

Guest column: Mr. Favre, take time to meet a real hero

I am writing this letter to Brett Favre, the Green Bay Packers and the people of Wisconsin.America looks at professional athletes as heroes. They turn a blind eye to their behaviors both on and off the field. Men make millions of dollars and act like spoiled children.
The media is treating this Favre thing like it is a national tragedy — a quarterback for a football team playing a game. I know a 20-year-old man who was making $15,000 a year, did things that potentially saved hundreds of American lives and is given no more than a passing thought by most people, at best.
Much is made of Brett playing in 253 straight games. This young man went on 240 missions in six months, helping to clear 10,000 pounds of net explosives. Brett practices in an air-conditioned arena. Luke worked in 120-degree heat for four months, 24 hours a day.
Brett played through injuries, Luke treated 80-plus casualties in a war zone, many by putting himself in danger. Brett goes to battle with his weapons beside him each Sunday. Luke carried his weapon with him every day: his strength and honor.
Brett can be explosive; Luke helped remove explosives that were intended to kill Americans.
My son Luke was killed by an IED (improvised explosive device) two hours before his replacement was to take over on March 2, 2007. He had just turned 21.
I have been a Packers fan all my life, as was Luke. Luke idolized Brett Favre. He called from Iraq one day and half way through the conversation he said, “You know what yesterday was? Brett’s birthday.” His friends started a group of Packer Backers in his honor.
How can I continue to watch football when you all talk about dignity and commitment but don’t know the meaning of the words? Packers, you want to do something heroic? Join the Marines and kill the enemies of our country. Otherwise pretend you have some honor, make a commitment, do your job and act like you want to set an example for America.
Brett, you retired. You want to come back? Shut up, earn your job back and act like you are worthy of being my son’s hero.

Milwaukee Brewers Pull AFP “Hot Air Tour” Permit

The Milwaukee Office of Americans for Prosperity (AFP) has informed The Liberty Tree Lantern that the “Hot Air Tour” permit for the big 7+ Story Tall, Red “Hot Air Tour” balloon was pulled by the Milwaukee Brewers “for being Politically Incorrect”.

The Liberty Tree Lantern is very sorry to hear that The Milwaukee Brewers decided to provide the permit and authorized it several months ago and then less than a week from the game they decide that it “Wasn’t Politically Correct”. It is very disturbing to people who stand for FREEDOM and TRUTH to hear that their professional baseball team would prevent public awareness of the truth behind the sham of “Global Warming” which is a major factor in the downfall of our economy and the price of energy and sustenance to skyrocket, which probably results in fewer Brewer ticket sales because people just don’t have the money to pay for gasoline and a baseball ticket anymore.

I suppose The Brewers gave in to some environmental extremist wackos who are hell bent on destroying the quality of our lives, our freedom and the attempt to force us through financial hardship, caused by high energy costs, to live in small apartment complexes in the city so that our “carbon footprint” is lessened; when, in fact, over 31,000 American Scientists http://captkarl.blogivists.com/2008/06/19/people-in-local-communities-will-not-be-able-to-afford-gasoline-or-energy/ have signed a petition to the United States Government that carbon dioxide produced by mankind does not drive “Global Warming” or “Climate Change”.

I am sad that The Milwaukee Brewers would let them get away with the attempt to destroy our way of life by halting our efforts to inform the public about the facts of the facade of “Global Warming”.

I bet the Green Bay Packers would at least let us have our “Hot Air Tour” balloon in Green Bay if not have the fortitude to directly support our cause. After all, it costs a lot of money to heat our homes up north and they care about their fans and shareholders. And the Green Bay Packers are “America’s Team”. They believe in freedom and understand that it brings prosperity for America, lower gasoline prices and there by, sells a lot more tickets to the game!

The only way we are going to save our way of life and freedom from the scourge of the enviromentalist wackos and the power hungry tyrants in the U.S. Congress is for all of us to huddle up as a team and be a whole team of Reggie Whites to have the courage to tackle the problem of the power hungry who seek to beguile us into the chains and bondage of socialism through the manipulation of our minds as to the sham of “Global Warming”.

Huddle up! SAVE MOTHER FREEDOM! READY! ! ! ONE, TWO, THREE, BREAK!
