Fellow countrymen and women; I would turn your attention to the highlighted parcel in the above segment. I would submit that neither of these two proposed bills, health reform and climate change legislation, conforms to the will of the people at all. Have we not seen the latest polls and the vast numbers of our fellow countrymen at Tea Parties and town hall meetings from sea to shining sea? Were there not nearly TWO MILLION of our fellow countrymen who utterly shut down Washington D.C. to stop the tyranny and despotism reflected by such Constitutionally heinous and contemptuous legislation?

Socialists, Communists and Fascists behold as American’s across the expanse of our UNION of FREE, INDEPENDENT and SOVEREIGN States Awaken to the clarion call to protect and defend Our Constitution that We The People wrote, established and ordained as a set of LAWS upon our Federal Government; A set of LAWS that ‘ENUMERATES’ the written list of only SEVENTEEN powers that by our INDIVIDUAL but united authority, bestowed upon us by our creator, we borrowed to the Federal Government, meaning both houses of Congress, The Obama and all Administrations and The Supreme Court, for the ‘privilege’ of handling ONLY these things listed in Our Constitution.

Because of this awesome power to create money out of thin air, the Fed has jumped in to stabilize ailing financial firms by pledging over $7 trillion through various guarantee programs and credit facilities. This is equivalent to over half of the entire nation’s GDP. Over $1 trillion of this is already in play, propping up banks and other institutions that should be allowed to fail. All of this has taken place with no oversight by Congress. The Fed was created by Congress, and it is unconscionable that we have allowed it to act in such a way without our oversight. Currently the Federal Reserve’s credit facilities, open market operations, and agreements with foreign governments and central banks are all exempt from any sort of audit or oversight. Earlier this year I introduced the Federal Reserve Transparency Act, HR 1207, that would remove all restrictions on Federal Reserve audits and call for a f ull audit of the Federal Reserve System to be completed by the end of 2010. At this writing, 245 of my fellow Congressmen have cosponsored this bill and we hope to have hearings in the near future. In the Senate, Republicans Jim DeMint, Mike Crapo and David Vitter have cosponsored S. 604, companion legislation introduced by Bernie Sanders. I am very encouraged by the tremendous growing momentum on Capitol Hill.

The Unalienable Right to Petition for Redress of Grievances, precedented even in England’s Magna Carta, is the background and very foundation upon which the Declaration of Independence was written and America was founded.

The founding fathers understood that the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial Branches of government might someday fail in their duty to protect the people from tyranny.

Fortunately, the founders provisioned for two forms of legal means through which We the People can peacefully mandate limited government: 1. the ballot box; 2. the First Amendment Accountability Clause.

“A primary object should be the education of our youth in the science of government. In a republic, what species of knowledge can be equally important? And what duty more pressing than communicating it to those who are to be the future guardians of the liberties of the country?”
