Believing themselves to be smarter than the average bear, bureaucrats in the Obama administration continue their quest to create a, well, bear market — at least for oil. The White House decided to designate more than 200,000 square miles of Alaskan land and coastline as “critical habitat” for polar bears — the same bear population that has reached greater numbers than previously recorded in history. In fact, despite what Al Gore and his fellow global warmists would have us believe, the population has actually risen by 40 percent since 1974.

This new non-endangered species habitat is enormous enough to qualify as the third largest state in the union, placing it between Texas and California in terms of square miles. Former UnitedHealth general counsel and now Assistant Interior Secretary Tom Strickland claimed at a news conference that the greatest threat to the bear is Arctic ice melt and that “we will continue to work to protect the polar bear and its fragile environment.”

However, the new designation as a critical habitat is the first step in requiring even more government consideration of the supposed negative effect on the escalating polar bear numbers before allowing oil and gas development. The state of Alaska responded by filing a complaint in an effort to stop the listing under the Endangered Species Act.

In the meantime, some 30 percent of the world’s gas supplies and 4 percent of the estimated global oil supply will be placed off limits because of this deceitful claim that the polar bear population is endangered. Next up, the loggerhead turtle, which, if listed as endangered, would bring regulations on everything along the eastern seaboard, including what lights you can put on the ocean-facing side of your house.

For those market boosters who are prattling on about the possibility of a “jobless recovery,” I offer an invitation to join me for a breakfast of “fat-free bacon,” “eggless omelets,” and “no-carb bread.” As unappetizing as such a meal may sound, it would nevertheless offer more substance than the oxymoronic concept of an economic resurgence without job creation.

Those who do cling to the absurd belief that, absent exponential productivity gains, the economy can expand while workers are being laid off will undergo a massive test of their convictions now that it’s clear the employment picture is bleak. Today’s weaker-than-expected report on non-farm payrolls revealed that employers shed 263,000 jobs in September. The losses propelled the headline unemployment rate to a 26-year high of 9.8%. U6, the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ most complete measure of unemployment, has risen to a dismal 17%. This figure includes those people who want to work full time, but have simply given up looking, or who have accepted part-time work in the interim. As it is similar to the methodology used during the Great Depression, U6 offers better historical perspective on the severity of our current crisis.

Taken together with yesterday’s larger-than-expected pickup in unemployment claims (first time claims rose by 17,000 to 551,000), today’s report makes it certain that the job market is still contracting, even while some indicators like GDP and consumer confidence are moving in the opposite direction.

There is no question that the sense of panic has temporarily subsided. In recent interviews, Treasury Secretary Geithner has been almost giddy in his descriptions of the recovery — all the while crediting his own policies for averting disaster. Americans are once again taking the government’s bait by spending money they don’t have to buy things they can’t afford. Evidence of this trend was contained in data released earlier this week which showed that even while income growth was largely stagnant, U.S. consumers showed the biggest month-over-month increase in personal spending in ten years! With the same report showing a 25% drop in the savings rate, the source of the spending money is clear. But depleting savings and increasing borrowing does not a recovery make.

To really recuperate, the government must allow market forces to restructure our economy. The government and individuals must rein in their spending; we must replenish our stock of savings, allow interest rates to rise, asset prices to adjust to economic reality, insolvent businesses to fail, and wages to reflect productivity. To accomplish these goals, subsidies that distort market forces must be removed and regulations that undermine our competitiveness must be repealed.

None of this can be accomplished without a degree of short-term economic pain. However, if we endure it, the payback will be a real recovery with plenty of new jobs that don’t rely on government stimulus money. If we refuse to allow the economy to experience a real recession, we will never have the benefit of a real recovery. Instead, we get the “jobless recovery,” a veneer of apparently positive indicators that merely obscures the underlying rot.

Over the last few decades, our industrial job market has atrophied while service- and public-sector jobs have grown unsustainably. We must restore balance. New jobs will have to come from areas that produce goods; bloated service and government sectors must be allowed to shrink. By propping up the sectors that need to contract, and running staggering budget deficits, the government cuts off the capital necessary to fund sectors that need to expand.

In truth, many of the service-sector jobs that exist today, such as real estate sales, mortgage finance, home improvement, and auto sales, were created in an environment of ever-increasing home equity, rising stock prices, and almost unlimited access to cheap consumer credit. With home equity gone, stock markets flat, and credit depleted, Americans find themselves needing to save rather than spend. But Washington has put through policies that have counteracted our good instincts.

While we were focusing our economy on consumer spending, much of the rest of the world was saving for the future. As such, we must begin to produce more for export, so that we can sell goods to those who have the savings to pay for them. That is the only way we can repay our debts, replenish our savings, repair our infrastructure, and rebuild our industrial base.

Another prerequisite to any real economic expansion is the potential for business owners to earn profits. With increased regulation and higher taxes on the way, these incentives are being diminished. In fact, via a phenomenon called ‘regime uncertainty,’ our current policy path is actually encouraging businesses to contract in order to prepare for a more hostile business environment.

Robust economies utilize all spare capacity, or restructure it for better use. Having 17% of our able-bodied population sitting at home or working part-time at Cinnabon indicates that our present policies are weakening the economy — even if GDP is growing. There is no “jobless recovery,” only senseless cheerleading.

 Capt. Karl would note that Mr. Schiff’s basic economic theory and concepts, enabling such forecasts are very closely aligned with that of The Liberty Tree Lantern.  However, due to the intense desire of the members of the U.S. Government and The Federal Reserve “System” not wanting to lose their almost absolute power over not only our money but our daily behaviors and decisions and to whom our earnings from our labor goes, the “Powers That Be” are not going to let “The Matrix” like economy collapse as Mr. Schiff RIGHTLY prescribes because it is that very MATRIX that gives them their power over us and our earnings. 

Without The MATRIX, the economy that only exists in our minds believing that Monopoly money printed on glorified computer printers at the office of “The Fed” are worth 100 cents when in reality they are only pieces of paper with ink on them called “NOTES”  Federal Reserve “Notes” as printed thereon, which is an I.O.U. promising to pay with ‘real’ money in the future, in this case a future that will never arrive, our freedom, liberty, unalienable rights and individual wealth for the vast number of our average common working Americans, being able to keep their own earnings and choose for themselves what they want to do with their money, would be restored.  This, to the “Powers That Be”, is a horror that is far too alarming to behold.  Therefore, The Liberty Tree Lantern submits to our dear knowledgeable and noble Mr. Schiff, that the economy over the next 8 – 12 months will boom as the result of pumping an ever increasing level of TRILLIONS of dollars in Monopoly money/Federal Reserve “NOTES” into the economy resulting in cash seeping into our economy, created out of thin air demand for goods and services and millions of people being re-employed and some making more money than ever before.

And that, my intellectual friend (who I hope to meet someday), is when we will KNOW that the total and nightmarish collapse of The MATRIX, our economy, is close at hand.  When almost everybody is lulled into thinking that everything is on the mend, but behind the scenes there will be all sorts of disruptions in the economic forces because an economy based on paper and ink alone is not sustainable due to Natural Laws of economics.  We are well on our way to a BLACK FRIDAY that makes 1929 look like a cake walk.  And the ONLY WAY to tell when it is close at hand is when most everybody is back to work and everything seems, for the most part, honky-dory.  But, in the background, economic analysts will be scratching their heads knowing something isn’t right.  More and more banks will fail to the point that the FDIC will need infusions over and over again.  Taxes on the average common blue collar worker will go up substantially to pay for all sorts of TARP, stimulus, BAILOUTS, untold numbers of Socialist spending  programs and last but DEFINATELY not least Social Security and Medicare, which is a $99 TRILLION Dollar hand to mouth Ponzi scheme that makes Bernie Madoff look like a rank amateur.  Only this ponzi scheme is about to financially cripple 306 MILLION Americans and our entire nation.

And THIS IS A GOOD THING!  THIS IS A BLESSING!  Because IF we then have become motivated enough to learn about the value of freedom, liberty and capitalism, in addition to the 28 Freedom Principles in which The Constitution was drafted, we will become free and after about five years of hardship, turmoil and a possible Re-Revolutionary War, we will restore our INDIVIDUAL freedom, liberty and prosperity.  You see folks as long as ANY PART or hint of The MATRIX exists, we will never have our INDIVIDUAL freedom, liberty, unalienable rights or prosperity that can only be created by them as blessed by God and not the economic and personal slavery by and resultant from Constitutionally contemptuous Socialist, Communist, and/or Fascist “progressive” members in all three branches of the U.S. Government and their  cartel of twelve private banks that make up The Federal Reserve “System”.

Peter Schiff is exactly right.  The Matrix (our current economy based on Monopoly money and Constitutional contempt) has got to comprehensively be shutdown, so that we can rebuild our freedom, liberty and economy, even though it is going to hurt like hell for a few years.

Like it or not we live in a global economy.  If the Obama administration enacts policies that make it too expensive to manufacture products in the United States, those products will be made in other countries and shipped here.

Numerous studies have documented how the grossly misnamed Affordable Energy Act of 2009, also known as Cap and Trade or more accurately Cap and Tax, will raise the cost of energy for every American.  If the cost of all energy rises dramatically, will industrial production stay in this country or will it move to China or India that is not constrained by the cost of energy regulations?  China and India already enjoy a significant cost advantage over American producers in many fields; this will just exacerbate that advantage.

While the US taxpayers are paying to support the preservation of United Auto Workers jobs, with outlandish pay and benefit costs, at GM and Chrysler, the same administration is willing to drive industrial production overseas.  Perhaps this is why the administration is also supporting Card Check legislation that will allow easy unionization of millions of workers in the service industries.  It knows that its other policies will destroy millions of well paying industrial jobs in this country.  Based upon the Spanish government’s experiences with subsidizing alternative energy sources through higher conventional energy prices, Cap and Tax will destroy 2 million jobs per year in this country.

For such a damaging plan to be seriously considered there must be a group that benefits from its passage.  Just as Joseph Kennedy benefited handsomely from FDR’s programs in the 1930’s, it turns out that some of main benefactors of this program are also politically very well connected.

In 2004, Al Gore, former Vice President and author of Inconvenient Truth, started Generational Investment Management (GIM) to provide funding to businesses associated with alternative energy.   GIM also happens to own 10% of the Chicago Climate Exchange, which will issue the carbon credits that Cap and Tax legislation is based upon.

In 2007, Al Gore became a partner in the venture capital firm of Kleiman, Perkins, Claufield and Byers (KPCB).  This firm is heavily invested in renewable energy and electrical grid improvements.  The market for their products is almost completely dependent on government programs in the form of subsidies, tax breaks or regulation.  Al Gore’s contribution to KPCB is to promote government intervention into the energy markets.

It is not surprising that venture capital firms and investment firms that will have a stake in the trading of carbon credits, have made extensive campaign contributions to those legislators proposing Cap and Trade legislation.  Clearly, the American public looses in the form of higher energy costs and lost jobs however, a few politically well connected individuals will have much to gain as the result of further government regulation of energy consumption.

 As you are aware, if you are reading my blog, I stated that our economy is experiencing a Supernova Effect where the market skyrockets up to at least 11500 and perhaps even as high as 16,000 over the next few months.  I was forecasting that in January of this year based on the multiple TRILLIONS of printed out of thin air monopoly money that The Fed has and is continuing to inject into The MATRIX (our “perceived” economy).

 Nobody seems to fully understand “why” the market is going up so far and so fast.  Banks are not lending their money out to business or the public in general.  So what’s going on?  No banker is so stupid as to let good money just sit there, doing nothing, even though they are wise enough to not lend it out in the middle of The Great Recession.  Therefore, the Trillions are “seeping” into the markets.  This process will eventually lead to super heated economic growth and millions of people getting re-employed and some even making more than ever before.  When this happens, over the course of the next 9 – 18 months, this is when you know that the end, a new BLACK FRIDAY, is close at hand.  This is a very close facsimile as to what happened in 1929 and we all know what happened on a particular Friday “after” the weeks when most everybody in America thought that everything economically was on the mend and slept well and awoke to almost everything being lost.

  So, if you know what you are doing, go dancing in the market, have fun making a killing, BUT BE OUT before BLACK FRIDAY of 2011 probably Q2 or Q3 when the U.S. Government admits that they have to start collecting MASSIVE additional taxes from the working classes to pay for Social Security, Medicare, Socialized medicine (public option) and all manner of Constitutionally contemptuous legislation in the form of UNCONSTITUTIONAL Socialism passed by scofflaws since 1913 which has led us down that path to the valley of darkness known as a green “hybrid” of Socialism, Communism and Fascism in the form of a U.N. style one world despotic BIG BROTHER welfare police state.  A new world where there is nowhere on Earth to run from tyranny and oppression or the IRS Agents of The MATRIX.  In the new world that is coming, should We The People become cowards and not fight hopefully peacefully but in any case anyway necessary to protect our way of life, INDIVIDUAL liberty, freedom, rights and property, we Americans will realize that government “free stuff” leads only to the equal distribution of misery, poverty and ultimately slavery via Socialism.

 The MATRIX, our economy based on our minds being led through Mass Behavior Modification that a dollar is worth 100 cents, when in the “real world” it is actually worth 2 – 3 cents, will come to an end, just as it almost did in the last quarter of 2008, due to the natural forces of the universe; the inescapable physics of “natural law” (God’s Law of which under the Universe was created).  Gravity, for example, is a “natural law” of the universe which cannot be avoided forever.  In this case, for example, only God and the labor of man can create wealth.  Printing TRILLIONS of dollars of nearly worthless paper and ink, supported by almost nothing, with almost no collateral to speak of, and being able to take those pieces of paper with ink on them and buy homes, cars, trucks, boats, skyscrapers, pay labor, refrigerators, furniture, etc, etc, etc, with nothing more than pieces of paper printed from a glorified computer printer at the office of the cartel of twelve privately held banks called THE FEDERAL RESERVE “SYSTEM”,  is shear madness.

 The Fed has thrown the financial ball of doom up into the air, it is being propelled by fuel we call monetary supply, but there is no way to reach escape velocity; soon the “Natural Law” of gravity (God’s Law) will start to pull down The MATRIX (our economy) that only exists in our minds and the dollar will be revalued by the world, in panic selling, down to its true value outside of The MATRIX (outside of our minds in the real global world) to 2 – 3 cents.  When this process starts to happen, I would estimate in Q2 or Q3 2011 coinciding with MASSIVE income tax increases on the middle class; Buckle your seatbelt, Dorothy, because Kansas, , ,   is going bye, bye! 

The result of all of this:  ………………..   ”Hyper-Inflation”.  What does that mean?  What if a single gallon of gasoline cost $80.00?  What if your MONTHLY utility bill went up to $5,323.00?  What would happen if a loaf of bread costs $80.00?  What if a gallon of milk cost $150.00?   -  -  -  -  -    Total “System” failure.  The MATRIX, this economy that we live in, because we have been programmed – “mass behavior modified” to believe that a dollar is worth 100 cents – when in reality it is worth only 2 – 3 cents, will be shut down, that is what it means.  And mark the words of ol’Capt. Karl, Obama is just waiting for this Crisis to implement the means to his ends of a one world government with totalitarian control over every living soul in the world and nowhere to run for rights or freedom:

How long must we endure hardship and hunger (and perhaps a Re-Revolutionary War if it comes down to that) until WE The People restore our individual prosperity and have an unbelievably great economy with the Federal Government out of our lives (which is the MEANING OF FREEDOM as defined by our Founding Fathers) and our individual sovereign States taking care of all the things that are not authorized in the ‘enumerated’ list of SEVENTEEN things, by the Constitution (See: 9th and 10th Amendments and also THE enumerated list of SEVENTEEN powers: Section 8 – Powers of Congress), for the Federal Government to handle?  I would speculate it would take about five years.  The first two will really be tough as so many of us Americans have become wimps.  But we will be all the better AND individually prosperous for it.

After The MATRIX  collapses we will learn to help each other and to give of our own free will to help and love our neighbors.  We will learn to pray to God for our blessings and NOT get down on our knees to pray to our Government, nor to THE FEDERAL RESERVE “SYSTEM” to print paper “blessings” out of thin air from which to buy food, shelter and clothing. 

How did we ever get so far from our roots?  (Public Schools that are “Government” sponsored.  That has got to come to an end.  That and Main Stream Media owned by the Trilateral Commission (www.trilateral.org) who are a creature founded by THE FEDERAL RESERVE banking companies, is what programmed our minds to be so perverted  away from freedom, the prosperity that only it can produce and our God who blessed us with it.)

Can you be brave enough to suffer for five short years, after the collapse of our economy, for the Godly glory of individual freedom, liberty, and prosperity?  If not, , ,  than all Americans, our children and their children’s children will suffer a thousand years of darkness under a worldwide Socialist, Communist, Fascist “hybrid” U.N. style welfare BIG BROTHER, IRS Agent police state with nowhere to run;  Where there is no hope to get out from under the EQUAL DISTRIBUTION of misery in poverty and individual slavery for “The Masses”. 

Benjamin Franklin said; “Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both.”

How could you be so cruel as to choose Obama’s “Final Ultimatum” that is coming in the near future, rather than suffer only five years of hardship, for freedom?  How could you live with yourself choosing to place your own children and grandchildren in a slavery as horrendous as that under the Pharos?

And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willin’ to trade ALL the days, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they’ll never take… OUR FREEDOM!

God help us if we choose to give up on freedom and OUR Constitution in favor of Obama’s promise of shelter, food and a job.  It will soon come to that, in less than three years, folks.  Watch for ‘The Final Ultimatum’ and remember that ol’Capt. Activists like you won an amazing policy victory last year when public outrage forced Congress to finally end its ban on offshore drilling, after 26 long years of keeping America’s vast energy resources in the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) locked up and off the market.A year later, the Obama administration is doing everything it can to drag its feet and prevent us from accessing American energy resources. They are trying to ignore the millions of Americans who demanded access to American energy resources by secretly putting the ban back in place.

Even more amazing and outrageous: the Obama administration is now actually poised to lend $2 billion from U.S. taxpayers to the Brazilian national oil company, Petrobras, for offshore drilling in Brazil.

This administration is actually going to force you to pay for offshore drilling in Brazil, at the same time they try to block offshore drilling here in America!

Fortunately, you can do something about it. The Obama administration is required by law to listen to public comments on the subject of energy exploration and production in the OCS.

Offshore drilling in the OCS would be a real economic stimulus that would create jobs and economic growth by actually producing something. A study from ICF International estimates more than 160,000 well-paying American jobs would be created from allowing oil and gas drilling offshore. Government policy to prevent these jobs by banning access to our own resources is completely unacceptable at a time of 9.4 percent unemployment.

According to federal government estimates, the OCS contains 86 billion barrels of oil and 420 trillion cubic feet of natural gas. We all remember what a hardship it was when gas prices spiked over $4 a gallon last year. We also remember being told that allowing drilling wouldn’t help because it could take years for the new energy sources to reach the market. Well that’s why we can’t wait until the next price spike to start drilling. We need to drill here in America, and do it now.

We have been posting several articles about the importance of the Obama Administration to release the leases to the oil companies so that we the people of America can benefit from the MASSIVE quantities of energy that our dear Lord has blessed us with in the western federal lands as well as offshore all around America and in Alaska.  Once we rebuild America from the collapse of “The MATRIX” we are going to really need a lot of “domestic” energy to supply the huge economy that will be created from the U.S. Government being FORCED to comply with the LAWs that we wrote in the Constitution to bind them to ONLY SEVENTEEN ‘enumerated’ things, “listed” in the Constitution, that We The People ‘borrowed’ them OUR authority that we were given by God, to handle.  When our Government collapses down to the size and spending level called for in the enumerated powers clauses, it will only be 1/5th its current size and spending level.  The balance will remain in our productive hands and in our economy.  That is going to take a huge amount of energy where we need ALL SOURCES of energy to feed, because then the vast majority of our average common citizens will become wealthy off of their own hard work, sweat and risk.

In the meantime we could all use a little relief at the pump and on our utility bills.  Once all of these leases are released by Obama and his Administration, the cost of a barrel of oil will drop dramatically and will aid our economy and employment immensely.

 Dear Dan:

My family and I are avid viewers of the Glenn Beck TV program on Fox News. 

 It has come to our attention that Sprint has dropped advertising on Mr. Beck’s program due to a relatively small number of left leaning “organized“ political activists that have contacted your firm.

 I would like to point out that Mr. Beck has MILLIONS of TV viewers every single night of the week.  His ratings are extremely high and growing at an unprecedented rate.

 My family and I would respectfully request that your firm resume advertising on the program which, due to the millions of supporting viewers, would result in a tremendous benefit for Sprint as well.

 Please reply with an answer as to when your advertising will resume so we know when we can utilize Sprint products in good conscience.
