As “Obamanomics” continues to accelerate the economy’s collapse and with it, the destruction of millions more jobs, the corrupt U.S. political class is circling its wagons in dangerous and disturbing ways. Here are some very recent eyebrow-raising developments:

• The White House is compiling a political enemies list. On Wednesday, an official White House blog urged users to forward the names of any and all Internet critics of the Administration’s proposed plan to crush private medicine and force Americans into government-run healthcare. Specifically, White House allies are being urged to forward the names of anyone spreading “fishy” information on the Internet about their healthcare plan to flag@whitehouse.gov.

• In the last week, the White House launched an attack against the Drudge Report for airing a YOUTUBE segment of a 2003 Obama speech before a union audience where he explicitly called for an end to private insurance. The White House launched a video of its own to counter Obama’s comments, completely ignoring that’s exactly what Obama had said in 2003. Additional comments by Rep. Barney Frank and Nancy Pelosi calling for a “single payer” socialized medicine system have also found their way onto YOUTUBE.
• Members of Congress conducting town hall meetings are being met by angry voters who oppose the imposition of national “communal medicine” run by the same kind of bureaucrats who run DMVs. Town hall meetings from Austin, Texas, to Philadelphia to California have seen record attendance by angry constituents opposed to the hard-left agenda being pursued in Washington. Meanwhile, union bosses at the AFL-CIO and the SEIU have stepped in to chill voters from expressing their opposition, dispatching union operatives to town hall meetings with orders to pressure attendees into signing documents promising they will not get angry. (Kinda ironic, considering Big Labor’s especially ugly reputation for militancy.)
• Within the last 48 hours, Speaker Nancy Pelosi has joined with other Democrats to denounce the angry citizens who are showing up for town halls. In a short scratchy video caught on someone’s camera, Pelosi could be heard denouncing the voters, launching a false claim they were sporting Nazi logos as part of their protest. (Major thought-control legislation now looms before Congress – Pelosi and other Democrats catching heat from the public strongly favor “hate crimes” laws, “free-speech zones,” and the like.)
• The Capitol is rapidly being converted to White House levels of security. The much-ballyhooed Capitol Hill “Visitors Center” ends a 230-year tradition of broad public access to the U.S. Capitol by the general public. (Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid was overheard complaining about having to deal with the “smell” of citizens visiting the Capitol.) Members of Congress are also quietly talking among themselves about the need to add their own personal security at future town hall meetings back in their districts.
• The House of Representatives has quietly purchased an initial fleet of three luxury Gulfstream G550s so top members of Congress can avoid public exposure on commercial airplanes. (Even after raising a stink about “carbon footprints” and corporate executives flying in their own jets.)

I haven’t come out and said this in Independent Living yet, but the fact is – based on close examination of Barack Obama’s actions so far and his planned legislation – he is clearly an ideological nut… probably the most Far Left wing president ever to occupy the Oval Office.

Hang on tight folks, because it’s only a matter of time before the political establishment resorts to more extreme measures to stifle dissent and crush opponents.

 The 10^th Amendment states: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

I have reviewed the entire Constitution and find healthcare nowhere in the “enumerated” list, therein, where We The People gave the U.S. Government the authority to engage in any form of public health insurance.  I counted seventeen items in the Constitutional “list” of things WE “allowed” the U.S. Government the “privilege” to handle for us.  I find that the vast majority of the powers several Administrations and both houses of Congress from both Parties have usurped, over the course of the last nine decades, which has resulted in utter Constitutional contempt, heinous tyranny and massive spending of our earnings, by confiscation through “Federal withholding and payroll taxes”, numerous methods of other taxation and TRILLIONS of Dollars of “public debt”, are not in the list.   According to the 10^th Amendment, from our cardinal laws of the land, as We The People wrote, established and ordained on all members of the U.S. Government, that makes them scofflaws subject to at least imprisonment or prosecution of treason.

 Such despotism has lead to an economic plight for our near future as well as our children and grandchildren that are so ominous it could be termed financial devastation. 

 Being in attendance at the Congressman Kagen Marinette, WI “listening session” I have reason to believe that I am not alone in my findings.  I hope that Dr. Kagen re-reads OUR law that he is under OATH to support and defend against all enemies both foreign and Pelosi, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion.   -  – Capt. How is our U.S. economy going to survive Social Security and Medicare, $90 Trillion Dollars in UNFUNDED Liabilities, over the infinite horizon, just for these TWO programs alone? ? ?   How are we going to afford another Ponzi scheme like NATIONALIZED “free” Healthcare?

DANVILLE, Va. – Rep. Tom Perriello, D-Va., may be using the state police and local law enforcement to harass and intimidate citizens who have publicly expressed opposition to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s trillion-dollar health care reform legislation, a local TEA Party leader charged Tuesday in a letter urging state Attorney General Bill Mims to conduct a formal investigation.

Danville TEA Party chairman Nigel Coleman told Mims that Virginia State Police officers Monday came unannounced to the home of another member of the group to question him about attending a town hall meeting Saturday in Blairs which featured Perriello and two Obama cabinet secretaries.
 
“All Americans should be concerned when a congressman uses the state police to intimidate citizens and suppress dissent against a government takeover of our health care.,” Coleman said.  ”No American should have to fear that the police will show up at his door because he’s dared publicly disagree with some politician’s political agenda.” 
 
Saturday, Coleman and other TEA Party leaders were refused an opportunity to ask Perriello a question during the event, and then were instructed by a plainclothes police officer to leave the property when they attempted to display signs urging the congressman to follow the Constitution and oppose Pelosi’s “socialized medicine scheme.”  Coleman said he and the others peacefully complied, but were followed to a restaurant by an officer in an unmarked car, who then exited his vehicle, walked over to the activists’ cars, and called in their license plate numbers over the phone.
 
Coleman said he contacted Perriello’s Danville office Monday to request a meeting with the congressman to protest the police intimidation tactics used at the event and to ask why he and other TEA Party activists were told to leave. 
 
Perriello’s staff refused the request for a meeting, Coleman said, while assuring him that the office understood that he and other local TEA Party activists pose no threat to the congressman.
 
 ”First, I was disappointed at Saturday’s event that Congressman Perriello refused to take hard questions from his constituents about where he stands on Nancy Pelosi’s trillion-dollar socialized medicine scheme,” Coleman said.  “But I am outraged by the police intimidation tactics that have only escalated since.”
 
“Now, as of Monday, Rep. Perriello refuses to even meet with us, while the police treat constituents who are simply exercising our Constitutional free speech rights as if we’re terrorists,” Coleman said.
 
“Citizens have the right to schedule a meeting with our elected officials whose salary we pay. Rep. Perriello needs to stop refusing to meet with us to answer the tough questions, and help us stop local and state police from suppressing our First Amendment free speech rights,” he said.

Coleman organized two recent TEA party rallies, one on July 4th and another on July 17th at Perriello’s Danville office to protest the upcoming socialized healthcare bill.
 
Coleman noted that at a similar TEA Party protest outside Perriello’s Charlottesville office Friday, police appeared to order an estimated 60 local taxpayers to leave the parking lot. As reported Friday on the blog of The Schilling Show, a Charlottesville talk radio program:
 
“Approximately forty minutes into the event, Charlottesville police were called to the parking lot area.  Unconfirmed reports from the scene tie at least one of the complaining phone calls directly to Congressman Tom Perriello’s office staff. While the attending police officers (professionally and politely) compelled the gathered crowd to disperse, rally attendees grumbled at the prospect of their own congressman’s office terminating their First Amendment free speech protest.”

I sure hope you understand what is happening here.  It is exactly like what happened in the early 1770s with our last Government that we had for 150 years when we were all British colonists.   My only question is, when will the public refuse to disburse anymore? 

Here is an excerpt, a first hand account from history, of what happened the last time:  Just as I had finished and got back to my place, I perceived Government troops had arrived on the spot between the meeting-house and Bucknian’s, near where Captain Parker stood when he first led off his men. Our Government’s troops immediately wheeled so as to cut off those who had gone into the meeting-house. The Government troops approached us rapidly in platoons, with a general officer on horseback at their head. The officer came up to within about two rods of the centre of the company, where I stood, the first platoon being about three rods distant. They there halted. The officer then swung his sword, and said, ‘Lay down your arms, you damned rebels, or you are all dead men. Fire!’ Some guns were fired by our Government at us from the first platoon, but no person was killed or hurt, being probably charged only with powder.

 How soon before our people have enough courage to stand their ground and our Government orders the officers to fire?  Hundreds of Thousands of Tea Parties across our nation and in virtually every State in The Union and still our so-called Representatives refuse to listen to us.

A conservative watchdog group that published a critical report last month on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says the government has retaliated by charging the group exorbitant fees for documents. 

Judicial Watch published a report in March, based on e-mails and other documents obtained through a Freedom of Information request, showing Pelosi repeatedly requested military aircraft to shuttle her and her colleagues and family around the country. 

Though Judicial Watch was not charged fees for those documents, the group got a different response when it filed a follow-up document request with a unit in the Air Force on March 16: That’ll be $760. 

“We thought it was retaliatory,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said. “This seems like a petty response. This seems like a petty effort at retaliation in response to the bad publicity at the speaker’s office.”

A representative for Pelosi was not available for comment. The Freedom of Information officer who said Judicial Watch would owe a fee also did not return a request for comment.

The chief reason cited by the Pentagon in denying the group’s fee waiver request was that Judicial Watch qualifies for the “other” category — this means the group did not qualify as “media,” a designation they’ve received before that makes it easier to win a fee waiver. 

The Pentagon first notified Judicial Watch of its likely decision March 19 but requested more information. Judicial Watch appealed, citing the group’s ability to disseminate its information, the public interest in obtaining the documents and its claim to be a “member of the news media.” 

Judicial Watch received another e-mail April 7 declining the request and restating that the fee is $760. 

“Therefore, if we don’t receive a willingness to pay by April 21, 2009, we will close this case,” the notice said. 

Fitton said his group hasn’t decided whether to pay the fee or sue, and he complained that the Air Force didn’t cite much of a reason for charging a fee.

He said Judicial Watch almost never is required to pay a fee for documents requests. 

Anne Weismann, chief counsel with Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, another key watchdog in the nation’s capital, said her group hardly ever is required to pay fees for such requests. 

“Almost all of the time we are granted a fee waiver,” she said. “Every once in a while an agency denies it and we litigate, and we have won every time we litigate it.”

She said her organization wins fee waivers, even though it hasn’t sought to qualify as “media.” 

She said there is one pending case in which the Federal Aviation Administration denied a fee waiver regarding the group’s request for information about federal spending on research and development. She said agencies generally deny the waivers when they “want to kind of jerk you around.” 

In requesting the fee waiver in March, Judicial Watch also cited President Obama’s Jan. 21 memo on the Freedom of Information Act, which urges agency heads to assume a commitment to transparency and disclosure. 

“The Freedom of Information Act should be administered with a clear presumption: In the face of doubt, openness prevails. The government should not keep information confidential merely because public officials might be embarrassed by disclosure, because errors and failures might be revealed, or because of speculative or abstract fears,” the memo said. “All agencies should adopt a presumption in favor of disclosure, in order to renew their commitment to the principles embodied in FOIA.”

Technically, the stance on Judicial Watch’s request isn’t violating Obama’s policy, since the documents aren’t being withheld. Nevertheless, charging high fees for public documents sometimes can be prohibitive, and Judicial Watch feels the organization is being singled out.

After the Judicial Watch report in March, Pelosi’s office disputed the claims. The office pointed to White House policy enacted after the Sept. 11 attacks allowing for the House speaker to travel to his or her congressional district via military aircraft whenever possible for security reasons. Her office said she typically uses the same kind of aircraft used by her predecessor, Dennis Hastert. 

Pelosi spokesman Nadeam Elshami told FOXNews.com at the time the report seemed to be based on only “a few e-mails.” 

Fitton said his organization’s request for more documents — to which the Air Force wants to apply a fee — was meant to fill in any “gaps” about information on travel for both Pelosi and Hastert.

The Matrix, Our ECONOMY that only exists in our minds created from printed out of thin air monopoly money, used to control and manipulate us, our earnings, our property and our very freedom, is everywhere. It is all around us. Even now, in this very room. You can see it when you look out your window or when you turn on your television. You can feel it when you go to work… when you go to church… when you pay your taxes. It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth.

What truth? 

That you are a slave. Like everyone else you were born into bondage. Into a prison that you cannot taste or see or touch. A prison for your mind.

Our Economy is a bunch of complex numbers created by The Federal Reserve System. Our minds, programmed by "public" schools, main stream media, U.S. Government and "The Fed", perceives that assets can be bought by monopoly money>

Many people have a hard time understanding what is happening to our economy which is exactly like “The Matrix” in the movie.  It only exists in our minds as we have been programmed by our “public” schools, the main stream media, the U.S. Government, and The Federal Reserve; TO BELIEVE THAT a Dollar is worth a Dollar, when it is really printed “OUT OF THIN AIR” with little more backing them up than paper and ink.  Dollars even state right on them that they are “FEDERAL RESERVE NOTES”.  Don’t you know what a NOTE is?  It is an I.O.U., a promise to pay with “real money” in the future.  In this case it is a future that will never arrive for we are all living in the “economic” prison of our minds in “The Matrix”.  The only way to earn “real money” is for the collapse of this fake economy, supported by NOTES and rebuild it in FREEDOM and the blessings of God, not a private company owned by forty mega-powerful dominant men who own “The Federal Reserve” company.

I understand “exactly” what you mean.  Let me tell you why you’re here. You’re here because you know something. What you know you can’t explain, but you feel it. Through this “system”, Federal Reserve “System”, they are stealing our earnings and spending it all on what they want, not what we want or need.

Income Taxes are not even constitutionally legal.  You can find all sorts of information on the illegalities of Income Taxes on this blog.  Imagine how much money you would have and how much money would be in our economy if the U.S. Government was FORCED by us to OBEY the Law. 

And, to add poverty to misery upon us, the Congress and Obama are working extremely hard to raise the price of gasoline, heating, lighting and electricity so that we can’t afford it.  They are not allowing our oil companies to explore and drill for oil in the VAST fields in the west like in Utah or even in our surrounding Oceans.  Is that absolutely insane or what?  How long are you going to take this?  They are working to bring the price of gasoline to over $4.00 per gallon and heating / electric bills to over $1000.00 per month so that you cannot afford to live.  The tyrants and oppressors of Washington D.C. in Congress and the Executive branch are not allowing our oil companies to procure the leases they need to drill!   In ADDITION to causing energy prices to go up by drying up DOMESTIC oil and natural gas production, which would make it so that we do not have to import from other countries, they are working on a bill RIGHT NOW, to place huge taxes, called “Cap and Trade”, ON TOP OF the increased prices they are causing on us.  THIS IS A MADHOUSE! ! ! @!

We can rebuild our economy to be as good as or even better than it was with REAL MONEY and in a true real life economy without monopoly money or the control and manipulations of a humongous private company like we have in The Federal Reserve today.  We can rebuild our nation in Freedom and Liberty which means We The People control our Government and not the other way around.  A country as we once had where WE COMPEL our Government to obey the LAWS that We did ordain and establish in The Constitution, which is a set of laws and ENUMERATED POWERS on THEM, not on us!

The time has come to tell the usurpers and despots to GO TO HELL!  They are not going to take 80% of our earnings away from us common working men and women in the form of withholding and payroll taxes!  They are not going to force us to go broke and march us to huge 1 & 2 bedroom apartment complexes to “put a roof over our heads and feed us” or to minimize “our carbon footprint”.

A message to The U.S. Congress, Obama and The Owners of THE FEDERAL RESERVE “SYSTEM” and The Trilateral Commission from Capt. Karl:   I know you’re out there. I can feel you now. I know that you’re afraid… you’re afraid of us. You’re afraid of change. A change back to TRUE freedom FOR US as ordered upon you by us through the Constitution of which you are to OBEY word for word, to the very spirit and intent  AS IT WAS MEANT before all the legalize spin and gyrations of activist Communist/ Socialist / Facist Federal judges.   I don’t know the future. I didn’t come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell you how it’s going to begin. I’m going to finish this post, and then I’m going to show these people what you don’t want them to see. I’m going to show them a world without you. A world without rules and controls, without borders or boundaries on “Americans” but secure from job stealing ILLEGALS literally attacking our national borders which still has no fence that we demanded of you. A world where anything is possible. So get your favorate Indian head dress and garb ready for one heck of a 4th of July party!  The Liberty Tree Lantern recommends not to forget to prepare your effigies in the likeness of your least favorate Congressmen like Senator Harry pork Reid or our Speaker of the House Nancy spend all the taxpayer money you can, give nothing back, Pelosi  or the head Communist in Chief himself B.O..  Of course we shouldn’t forget the creators of “The Matrix” (Our Economy that only exists as programmed into our minds, created by wealth printed out of thin air, paper and ink monopoly money), THE FEDERAL RESERVE!  We need to hang a few of them for sure! 

How about a few hanging effigy pinnatas?  Yeah we could hang them under Liberty Trees and stick them with pitchforks!   Now that’s an Independence Day celebration!

Seeing as how the first effigy of Senator Harry Reid was strung up last Independence Day at the Menominee Memorial Park in the U.P. of Michigan, which is right by the Menominee Marina, perhaps we here in the twin cities of Marinette / Menominee ought to take advantage of our area and have a few yachts setup for a mock Boston Tea Party just offshore of the Marina.

I know we have a designated Liberty Tree nearby for those who would like to tar and feather or hang an effigy of their least favorate Congressmen and women.  Bring patriotic signs and Gadsden flags to display from our Menomoninee, MI  Liberty Tree for the event.  All taxpayers are invited.  Everybody to dress up as a patriot or an Indian.
