Such passion Dr. Kagen. I’m not sure you got the message these caring and concerned constituents were sharing.
When asked how you were going to pay for any health care reform bill coming out of Congress, you said you would find $800B – $1T wasted. Wow. When asked if you will vote for health care reform if the majority of your constituents oppose the bill, you took a big sidestep – “It’s [the final bill] something that doesn’t exist yet.”

Wisconsin is in a competition with 49 other states for job creation and retention. Based on the performance of our leadership this year we are losing that competition. There are jobs moving and being created during this recession in the United States. They are just in other states like Texas, Georgia, Oklahoma, and Alabama. Unfortunately, some of those jobs moved and were lost from right here in Wisconsin.

Do Wisconsin citizens really want to recall Governor James Doyle? If so, how come there is so little published in local Wisconsin newspapers about it? The Liberty Tree Lantern will try to shed light on these two questions over the next couple of weeks, because this is such an important issue to Wisconsin.
Their are many in Wisconsin media who scoff at suggestions that our State’s survival depends on drastic measures like a recall. But many beg to differ on this implication by such local news sources. Many people have expressed great dismay with these news organization and wonder if these outlets are trying to control political outcomes by preventing news accounts from getting out to the Wisconsin public.

Governor Doyle delivered his annual State of the State address this Wednesday. He discussed our state’s economic outlook, $5.75 billion deficit, and briefly touched on his priorities for this budget. This address comes at a time when jobs are being lost, businesses are closing, and consumer confidence is at an all time low.
Wisconsin’s deficit is fourth largest in the nation and number one per capita. How is it that we are in the same category as such states as California and New York? Since Governor Doyle has taken office, government spending has increased by 25 percent. Government credit card borrowing has increased by 60 percent. Doyle has grown the state employee workforce by 4,900 in the last year alone after promising to cut state employees by 10,000 by 2010. This has occurred while private sector jobs have dropped by 66,000.

The bill, Oklahoma Joint Resolution 1089, would legislate sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution which also serves as a Notice and Demand to the federal government, which constitutionally is an agent of the sovereign states as there in guaranteed; whereas now the states are demonstrably treated as agents of the federal government.

I am so proud of our Wisconsin Congressmen that they know more than the over THIRTY ONE THOUSAND American Scientists that have signed a petition to the U.S. Government stating [...]
It must take a vastly superior intellect to comprehend how important it is to financially devastate families in Wisconsin for what they have calculated, in their professional knowledgeable minds, will harm us more than not being able to drive to work, heat and light our homes, or buy food.
