Now it is coming to light that — to save money — ACORN bosses have been telling paid employees to work for them as volunteers, instead, and earn their pay by collecting unemployment insurance. This, as blogger Michael McCray notes, would be a form of fraud.

I’m going to be having a beer with “Joe the Plumber” tomorrow. I met him at a “Defending The American Dream” Summit in Milwaukee a few weeks ago. He’s been wearing the Gadsden Flag pin ol’Capt. Karl gave him during our Summit conversations ever since. We have a dinner engagement with the “Samuel Adams Alliance” group tomorrow. From what I heard at the Madison – Tea Party (hell of a place to have it), I have procured quite a fan club with “The Liberty Tree Lantern” blog I write.
