The following report demonstrates the utter contempt our enemies in the U.S. Congress House of Representatives has for us as they clearly insult our intelligence.
WASHINGTON — Offshore oil drilling, which has dominated energy debates in the presidential campaign, is now coming to the Senate. The House late Tuesday approved on a 236-189 vote legislation that would open waters 50 miles off the Pacific and Atlantic coasts to oil and natural gas development — if the adjacent states agree to go along.

If you care at all for America and for the lives of your own family you will make sure to write a letter to your Senator to just let the ban on oil and gas drilling to expire! Aren’t you paying enough for gasoline, utility bills and food now? If you don’t personally rise up and make yourself heard, as we all must, you are the cause of your own problems. We all must rise up as a NATION of INDIVIDUALs standing united against our enemies in Congress who are trying to place us in a financial harms way!

While the American people realize that we face an energy supply problem in this country, liberals in Congress continue to put their heads in the sand and pretend otherwise.
Thankfully, a group of young Turks in the House and Senate is putting forward meaningful solutions to high energy prices, and leading a Gas Price Protest to put pressure on Congressional leadership to move a true energy reform bill through the Congress.

The first step in restoring our freedom and prosperity is to realize the propriety of Mr. James Madison’s statement in the first paragraph above; for without the “sense” of its meaning and importance the security of our prosperity and freedom is not secure from the ravages of The U.S. Congress.

The “bipartisan” Republican senators have undercut these efforts, and boosted Ms. Landrieu. They’ve even put a smile on Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s face. He’d been struggling to tamp down the energy debate through November, where he hopes to increase his majority and permanently shelve drilling. He’s now counting on the Gang to fruitlessly continue “negotiations” straight through the Senate’s short September session and solve his problem for him.
Not one of the five Republicans in the Gang is facing a tough election this year. That’s the so

By not supporting these brave and honorable Congressmen you are supporting the ones who are there specifically to harm Americans. If the majority of Congressmen and women, like Nazi Pelosi and Senator Dingy Harry Reid, Senator Russ Feingold (D-WI), Senator Herbert Kohl (D-WI) and Congressman Steve Kagen (D-WI) work so hard to make sure that the price of gasoline remains so high or goes higher by maintaining the legislation that makes it illegal to produce it from our own resources, how can any of us think they are on our side?
These people are fighting for us! We must show them support! What are you going to do, what is it worth to you, to help these Congressmen / women lower our price on energy, gas and food?

Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi and Senator Harry Reid of Nevada, the majority leader, appear intent on holding the line against calls to approve drilling in areas now off limits. They mount the counterargument that the oil and gas industry is not aggressively exploring large expanses it has already leased on land and offshore. They also have urged Bush to pour some fuel from national reserves into the commercial supply chain in an effort to lower prices.
