A question we need to ask anybody who says; “This is recall Doyle campaign is stupid and a waste of time and money. Wait for the election, it’s only a year + away.” It has to be getting obvious for anybody who has any minimal electrical current traveling through their synopsis that HOW THE HELL CAN WE wait for a year? Look at the financial devastation to our ENTIRE STATE of Wisconsin! Now even Mercury Marine is considering leaving from Fond du Lac, WI ! ! How many more companies have to go before the idiots in the media cease the INSANE blackout of our RECALL of DOYLE? Don’t they care about the people of Wisconsin at all? Don’t they think that the people ought to have the right to know that we can do something about DOYLE NOW?

“You’ll recall that [Gov. Jim] Doyle announced in late November that [the state] would eliminate these payments,” wrote Mr. or Ms. Throat. “Seems like a lot of them got in just under the wire.”

The list itemizes “discretionary compensation awards” — bonuses — to 82 state employees, including the UW System. A few are lump-sum payments: $1,000 here, $500 there, $3,150 to one UW-Madison supervisor for “new duties.” But most are per-hour salary adjustments for merit, equity, new duties and retention that extend permanently into the future. AIG execs, eat your heart out.

Do Wisconsin citizens really want to recall Governor James Doyle? If so, how come there is so little published in local Wisconsin newspapers about it? The Liberty Tree Lantern will try to shed light on these two questions over the next couple of weeks, because this is such an important issue to Wisconsin.

Their are many in Wisconsin media who scoff at suggestions that our State’s survival depends on drastic measures like a recall. But many beg to differ on this implication by such local news sources. Many people have expressed great dismay with these news organization and wonder if these outlets are trying to control political outcomes by preventing news accounts from getting out to the Wisconsin public.

Over this and the next two years, state budget legislation enacted or pending would increase taxes and fees $2.82 billion, according to a new report from the Wisconsin Taxpayers Alliance.

Of the $2.82 billion in increases, $1.11 billion became law in February as 2009 Act 2. The bulk of these revenues stems from a new tax on hospitals, additional taxes on multistate companies (”combined reporting”), and expansion of sales taxes on prewritten computer software.

At a time when families are struggling to pay bills and keep their jobs, the Governor is proposing to add to their burden by raising taxes and increasing government spending ($4.5 billion) to record levels. The nonpartisan Legislative Fiscal Bureau released a memo this week that detailed all of the fee and tax increases in the budget. The tax and fee increases are roughly $1.5 billion and $240 million respectively. These increases do not include $1.2 billion in tax increases that were in the budget repair bill proposed and passed by the Democrats in just 48 hours last month.

Hasn’t anyone in Wisconsin ever been taught in “public” schools that business never ever pays sales or any other taxes? What makes so many people so ignorant as to think that businesses ever pay any form tax?

Business taxation is NOTHING MORE than a way for State Government to tax ordinary citizens who haven’t had proper education. All business and sales taxes, of all types, including but not limited to, sales, payroll, Social Security, Medicare, Corporate, self-employment, in short all taxes go into the final cost of all products and services paid for by the average citizen and not any business.
