Think of how much the U.S. Government withheld from your paycheck during your lifetime. Now can you imagine, with the U.S. Government being TRILLIONS of Dollars in debt, how much ADDITIONAL taxes those of us in the Middle Class are going to have to start paying in a year or so?
As our withholding taxes goes up and our take-home paycheck becomes less and less and less, in the VERY near future, I will leave you with at least knowing that your taxes are “typically” being wisely spent:

“Our mission is to present a unified voice of concern over the current administration’s policies regarding taxation, our economy, foreign and domestic policy, as well as our individual constitutional rights as American citizens,” said Grassfire national coordinator Darla Dawald in an open invitation to the public to join the Sept. 12 taxpayer march in Washington, D.C. “America is in trouble, the problems and issues are broad and complex and it will take a monumental effort to stop, change and reverse the destructive course that this administration and Congress has put us on. Together, We the People can effect that change!”
“People want to do this,” he said. “The people who have been protesting around the country want to come to Washington and do this in D.C. In a lot of ways, they are being ignored and the media is underrepresenting them and their numbers. They want to come together for one big event and send a very clear message.”

“You’ll recall that [Gov. Jim] Doyle announced in late November that [the state] would eliminate these payments,” wrote Mr. or Ms. Throat. “Seems like a lot of them got in just under the wire.”
The list itemizes “discretionary compensation awards” — bonuses — to 82 state employees, including the UW System. A few are lump-sum payments: $1,000 here, $500 there, $3,150 to one UW-Madison supervisor for “new duties.” But most are per-hour salary adjustments for merit, equity, new duties and retention that extend permanently into the future. AIG execs, eat your heart out.

The Captain thought that readers of The Liberty Tree Lantern might like to know a few little facts about the Federal Government’s DIRECT spending of your tax Dollars as we are leading up to April 15th “TAX DAY”. Yeah ! ! ! ! ! Ya, That’s where if you don’t do everything right the (IRS) Agents of The MATRIX can come and raid your home and your business with a SWAT team pointing guns at you and your kids for not filing your tax forms correctly. I have a video of the Agents doing exactly that.
And then to top it off, there is NO LAW that states that you have to file Income Taxes. Look at all sorts of articles on this blog for additional information and many court cases that have been won by taxpayers. Do you know that not on one single tax evasion case has the IRS shown the law requiring the ordinary taxpayer to file or pay income taxes? Not one single case in American history.

Despite all his self-congratulatory rhetoric that he “protected schools” in these harsh economic times, the fact is Governor Doyle didn’t lift a finger to help fund K-12 education. Instead, he foisted the responsibility completely onto property taxpayers. He even took a massive infusion of federal stimulus money that could have been used to both increase funding for schools and provide property tax relief and instead used that money to reduce the state funds going to support education.

The American taxpayers have paid 40 BILLION Dollars, in taxes to be taken off of our future paychecks in ADDITIONAL Federal “withholding” go AIG and their employees to continue operations, salaries and bonuses as they have been, WITHOUT ANY LOSS. AIG employees and the other Corporate entity employees that have and will be receiving taxpayer money to continue operations, are the ONLY taxpayers who haven’t lost 40 – 50% of their pensions and 401k programs.

Worst of all, CBO says the deficit under Obama’s policies would never go below 4 percent of the size of the economy, figures that economists agree are unsustainable. By the end of the decade, the deficit would exceed 5 percent of gross domestic product, a dangerously high level.
White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said Friday that the new projections won’t stop Obama from achieving his goals or keeping his promise to cut the country’s red ink in half within four years.
